A child hood song comes to mind when I think of the SPECIFIC MANAGER named COURTNEY. Since she doesn’t know anything about professionalism I’ll take her back to the hood since that’s the attitude she gave me last week . The song goes a little like this “ Bald headed , Skittle diddle ain’t got no hair in the middle , tracks on weave that’s what ya need “ . Anyone who knows me at this gym knows I’m the most respectful sweetest person you could ever meet .
Last week Mr.Harold is my witness Courtney rudely snatched protein chips out of my hands 🙌🏽. Courtney purposely set the snacks up facing towards the register instead of facing it outwards towards the members to easily grab . Everyone else has this simple logic, but her .
I had just finished my workout and she didn’t even care to ask me if I needed anything , while Mr.Harold was nicely assisting someone else she was just standing there chilling. So I walked behind by the refrigerator to grab the chips to purchase them. She says in a rude tone “ are you an employee or member!?” I told her oh I’m a member and smiled. She walked over and aggressively snatched them from me. I told her I’ve done this before when I notice they are busy I grab my item and bring it to the register. She said I don’t care , anyways she started going back and forth with me I told her I’m not a child I can pick up my own item just because people have been stealing don’t place me in the same box. She said I had mental issues which was really sad and even said I was being unprofessional, like I’m not clocked in you are ! I see why nobody likes her at the gym. I seen her yesterday and today she didn’t even apologize hiring a manager with pride , not taking accountability, no humbling nature about them is unacceptable. Read moreI like coming to this location. They are friendly, helpful educational love the trainer there by the name of Dre. Definitely love the manager their name Mahogany. I will highly recommend this location if you’re located in this area, but I am loyal to my gym my job, my family and friends any healthcare professional, but I definitely would say now that Mahogany is not there. Things are totally different. I have found the location that she is currently at in Katy and definitely Katie location rocks all of the manager. There are super cool. They’re nice again over there their educational Love the atmosphere there. I recommend Katie, even if you’re not in the area just because of the good workers in the kind people that are there.

Read moreI’ve been a loyal customer of Fitness Connection for several years, and unfortunately, I made the decision today to cancel both my membership and my husband’s. I was the primary payee on our account.
Recently, I noticed that our membership fees had increased. Apparently, all members were automatically upgraded from FC Core to FC Plus without consent—an executive decision made by corporate, it seems. As a result, our monthly dues increased, and I called customer service to request a downgrade back to FC Core at the original $9.99/month rate.
The representative I spoke to stated they no longer had the option to downgrade in the system and instructed me to visit the club in person. I was told it would be a simple process and there would be no issues.
However, upon arriving at the gym, the front desk staff informed me they also had no ability to process a downgrade. The only option, according to them, was to cancel my membership and re-enroll me as a brand-new member—requiring me to pay all new member fees again. That makes absolutely no sense.
I’m extremely disappointed. I find it unacceptable that Fitness Connection can easily upgrade customers’ memberships and raise rates without permission, yet cannot offer a simple downgrade back to the original plan.
This experience left me frustrated and dissatisfied with how the company handles long-term customers. Unfortunately, I will be taking my business elsewhere and researching more transparent and customer-friendly...
