When selling my parents' home in Tamarac, I called several arts and antique dealers for estimates and appraisals on my mother's collections. After meeting with quite a few, I had the fortunate experience of working with Craig of Decorative Arts and Fine Antiques. Craig made several visits with us, educating us patiently about the value of her belongings and helping us connect with other buyers for items he couldn't personally use. As we were packing and selling the house from out of state, Craig offered to assist with the disposition of items we couldn't sell, helping to provide trucking services and personal assistance with all our needs to pack and arrange for the estate liquidation. We developed a relationship with a sense of trust and confidence in him. He proved to be an honorable businessman who went way above and beyond our expectations during a very stressful time. Recently I needed to move my grandmother from her apartment to an Assisted Living Community. She had antiques, paintings and miscellaneous objects d’art that she could not take with her. I am from out of state and had just a few days to empty her apartment and move her. The owner Craig Mayor provided me the services I needed to get the move done. He educated me on the things my grandmother had and then made arrangements for the purchase of the things he wanted, emptying of the apartment of the things he did not want and packing and sending paintings to my home. This made the move so much easier. It was hard to see the things that had been in the family leave but so nice to know they would be well cared for until they found a new home. We recently discovered DAFA, what a treasure! We regularly frequented antique dealers, stores, fairs,shows and shops all over the US and Europe for more than half a century. DAFA is a real standout. It’s like going into a museum with objects and art work that you can purchase. They do a great job of curating their selections to insure the quality of their offerings. Especially noteworthy is how great Craig, Debbie, Chris and Andrea are. They are very knowledgeable, friendly, inspire confidence and demonstrate the utmost integrity.
