This is about a store employee that I can only say, is a (Punk on a Power Trip) I was shopping in this store on 8/18/2019 around 3pm, I noticed a office chair that was siting on the floor, it wasn't on a rack, just sitting on the floor, I was checking it out and decided that I liked it and was looking for a new one in a box, which their were none of that type, it apparently was the last one (display model) I didn't see a price sticker on it, so I tried to find someone to assist me, one female employee was busy that I found moving around display tables, but she directed me to a young man, id say was early 20's with black hair, I led him back to where the office chair was sitting on the floor and asked if this is the last one, could I get a discount on it since its the display model, he looked around, but there was no other chair like it, so I asked how much that chair is, he bent down and spun the bottom legs around and said (You didn't see the price, it's $99.99) with an attitude, I never thought of looking at the bottom of the chair for a price, excuse me for living. So I asked since its the display model can I get a discount, cause wheels were scuffed, marks on parts of chair from being move around and lint/dust/dirt marks on seat of chair, he replied (The store will only give 10% discount on display models) again with attitude, I said for get it, he replied (Do you want it or not) with attitude again, at this moment another store employee showed up that was around the same age but bigger, I said for get it again and walked away cause I had had enough of this employee's cocky, rude, disrespectful attitude. I went to see the store manager about that chair, which he was very pleasant and respectful and he offered me a 20% discount on the chair, so I said ill go back and get the chair, but when I went through the checkout, apparently the manager decided to give me a 30% discount on the chair, and while I was going through the checkout, the employee that was rude to me earlier, seen me pay for the chair and as I was walking out the door with the chair in the cart, the rude employee came over and grabbed the cart stopping me from going out the second set of doors saying (I need to see your receipt) with attitude, I said (what the ** is you problem, you had a problem earlier with me over this chair and now your acting like im stealing this chair, you just watched me pay for it, what is your problem) to me this employee should be fired, cause if it weren't for my patience, this could have gotten ugly, this employee was a punk on a power trip
Note: This is my second posting of this cause apparently my first post of this on 8/18/2019 was taken down, wonder why...
UPDATE: as of 10/6/2019 the punk is still working at the store and when he noticed me, he scurried away like a little mouse
UPDATE: as of 11/10/2023 watch the cashier's now at this store, they will triple charge you for the same item at checkout, the cashier triple charged me $7.99 for the same item, that's $23.97 of an over charge, so watch your receipts here at this store so they...
Read moreOne for customer service and friendliness! Would give it 0 if I could. Boardman store. Tonight,dead,2 employees on floor ,asked them how much 2 different items were bc no price ,response: "we don't know MAYBE 4.99 AND 6.99,BUT NOT SURE" ME "need to know bf lugging 20 lb bags up to register " Young guy &older lady no response! ME" so you're not going to find out how much they are??" Still no response!! Me " are you going to find out??!!" Still no offer to find out!! Told them what kinda customer service is this?? Aborted the rest of my shopping bc of this behavior and only bought 2 99¢ items I already had. Told guy cashier how this is the unfriendliest and customer service lacking place I ever been in and no response from him either... (He's been my cashier bf and unfriendly) Told him I guess it's him too that's unfriendly and how I really have to think if I ever want to shop in there again then he finally asked me what I needed and what the problem was and then he was going to check for me and I told him no that's okay too little too late!! I'm really floored how they could have three different people so completely unfriendly and unhelpful. Rose's down the road was very friendly when I was there bf ,so it can't be the area ! Edit: Well I gave it another try tonight but that was it I will never shop at this location. Same unfriendliness, cashier don't greet or thanks customers. There was one cashier,3 or 4 people behind me ,guy in front had a big order then said he had a chair saved... 3 people didn't know what he was talking about, couldn't find chair ,all the while making all of us wait. Then finally they opened up a different register . The people behind me let me go first because I was first in line, but I went to the wrong side of the register by mistake and the woman cashier scolded me for not waiting all the way behind because she said that's what I'm supposed to do ,there's a sign back there that you have to wait till it's your turn!!! I have never seen anybody wait way back, never ever, and if there is a sign you couldn't see it cuz Ollie's have signs everywhere!! I learned my lesson ,giving them another chance, it's just the same and I will not shop at a place that unfriendly and...
