Amazing First-Time Experience at Sandbox VR! This was my first time at Sandbox VR, and my brother treated me to the session—it was incredible! Not only was it a ton of fun, but it also felt like a fantastic workout. By the end, I was covered in sweat, my heart was racing, and my spirits were sky-high. The experience felt so real—the falls were surprisingly immersive, and our players were even height-accurate, which added to the authenticity. It truly felt like stepping into another world. A special shout-out to our amazing aids, Jerry and Robert, who guided us from start to finish and made everything seamless. If you haven’t tried it yet, book your session soon—you won’t regret it!

PHOTO ATTACHED BELOW I recently visited Sandbox VR with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was soured by an incredibly rude staff member. From the moment we arrived, this person seemed uninterested in providing a welcoming or enjoyable experience. When we asked for help with the equipment, they responded with an annoyed tone, as if our questions were a nuisance. Their body language—crossed arms, eye rolls, and lack of eye contact—made it clear they didn’t want to be there, and it felt like we were inconveniencing them simply by asking for assistance. What should have been a fun and immersive VR experience was tainted by this unprofessional attitude. The staff member’s abrupt and dismissive responses left our group feeling frustrated and uncomfortable. In an environment that thrives on customer excitement and participation, such behavior is unacceptable. While the VR experience itself was engaging, this staff member’s rudeness definitely impacted our overall impression of Sandbox VR. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, as customer service plays a huge role in ensuring that guests have a positive and memorable experience.

Customer service is terrible. No one is at the door when you walk in. So instead of standing there looking lost let me help you. 1- Use the tablets on the wall to sign your waiver. 2- Proceed to the back, because that’s where the employees are hanging out— instead of greeting you at the door. No one was happy to be at work on this day. No assistance for first timers. “There is your gear, put it on.” Brace yourself— the gear they do help with, they just come up to you and start putting gear on your body. No communication, about the interaction at all. Just weird vibes. No “thank you for coming. See you again.” Bad attitudes without being flat out rude if that makes sense. I played Deadpool 10/10 a lot of fun Customer service 0/10. If you don’t want to be at work— clock OUT. I recommend choosing another location if customer service is a big deal for you. The games were fun. I got more information form the players in the actual game, than EMPLOYEES.

Tonight, my family of six visited Sandbox VR for a long-awaited parents' night out, but our excitement quickly turned into disappointment. The staff member pictured in the attached photo was extremely rude throughout our entire visit. His unprofessional behavior made us feel uncomfortable, and we were even hesitant to ask simple questions because of his snippy, curt responses. This one employee single-handedly ruined the entire experience for us. His attitude cast a shadow over what should have been an enjoyable evening, and we left feeling upset and frustrated. I sincerely hope management addresses this behavior immediately. I would also advise others considering this location to be aware of the potential for poor service.

My husband went to the Sandbox VR location at the Battery on Thanksgiving Day and had an absolute blast! The assistant manager, Richard was exceptionally nice and took the time to answer all the questions that we had. We ended up doing Squid Game, as well as Phobia. Both games were awesome - definitely 10/10! Richard and Cole were both very helpful and both exhibited amiable demeanors, considering I’m sure working on Thanksgiving Day is likely not too much fun. Take your friends/family up to Sandbox VR and try it out, if you haven’t done so already!
