Got the urge to compile a list of must-try eats in Atlanta **Firey Bowel** - p1&2 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ My favorite Jiangsu-style restaurant. This Jiangsu kid nearly teared up seeing *Dazhu Gansi* on the menu 🥹 The beer duck with its bold Sichuan peppercorn kick perfectly hit my half-Sichuan soul 👌 Reasonable prices (and every table has a sign that says "We firmly reject pre-made dishes!" LOL) **Kechuan Jianghu** - p3&4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ As a casual skewer enjoyer (not a foodie), I was pleasantly surprised. Their stir-fried pork liver is next-level—served sizzling on an iron plate with that *wok hei* aroma, kinda reminiscent of the home-style Sichuan stir-fries I grew up with? **Eight Sushi Lounge** - p5-7 ⭐️⭐️ King crab & Wagyu hand rolls were delicious, scallops were solid too. BUT!! The dessert (server said it was just added last week)—yuzu Basque cheesecake—was a total disaster 😅 Also, a bit pricey 🥲 **Okiboru Tsukemen & Ramen** - p8-9 ⭐️⭐️ Their fries are AMAZING!! Chicken karaage was decent too. Pleasantly surprised by the yuzu/ume sparkling options. As for the ramen… my non-foodie palate can’t tell the difference—all tastes kinda similar to me 🫣 **Park 27 Korean BBQ and Bar** - p10-11 ⭐️⭐️ Local students swear it’s great value (though none of us remembered the exact prices). Most memorable part? The dining room was DARK… but the meat was pretty good 👌 **Fluffy Fluffy Dessert Cafe** - p12 As someone with zero sweet tooth: "Pretty decent soufflé pancakes" (the mango tasted fresh but way too tart…). #AtlantaEats

This is my second time going to Punch Bowl and it’s my second time disappointed. I am a food vlogger/blogger and I decided to give it a second chance before I wrote up my review… The food is mediocre and the service was lousy and slow. My server who never told me her name but I got it from my receipt. “Starneesha” never took food from my table after I was done. And before that I was sitting with someone else’s food for 10 minutes. ABSOLUTELY GROSS! Actually the whole section had food sitting and not being picked up and it ruined the atmosphere. I was staring at half eaten and forgotten food from another table for almost an hour. WHERE are the MANAGERS? Do they not walk the floor and check in? Help their employees when it’s busy? (Even though it wasn’t that busy at all to have food sitting like that) Other servers seemed to be moping around and not doing much either. It seemed like the ENTIRE restaurant needed to be trained again, honestly. (Staff and Management) The drinks were fine and I honestly should’ve sat at the bar. I got the “Legit Nachos” they were ok and I expected more flavor. I traveled from New York City to do a segment on Atlanta and this restaurant left a lot to be desired. I would’ve excused it if the service was great but it wasn’t. I couldn’t justify making a video about this place because it was my second time disappointed and most of the shots had half eaten food. I really had high hopes.

A huge group of us from the office decided to take advantage of the All-Star Game being in Atlanta and head to The Battery for a company outing. It was a fantastic way to celebrate the Midsummer Classic without the hassle and cost of getting tickets to the game itself. The atmosphere was electric—even without being inside Truist Park, you could feel the energy of the crowd. We started our evening at one of the many restaurants, getting a table at a spot with a great view of the massive outdoor screens. The food and drinks were flowing, and it was a perfect setting to just relax and catch up with colleagues outside of the typical work environment. The vibe was a mix of festive excitement and friendly camaraderie, which was exactly what we needed. The live music and various fan activities happening around The Battery made it feel like a true festival. As the game got underway, the roar from the crowd gathered in the plaza was just as thrilling as being in a stadium. You could hear the cheers and groans for every big play, and it was a great bonding experience to be a part of that collective excitement. The All-Star Game on the big screen felt incredibly immersive, and we were all on the edge of our seats for the final innings. The Battery proved to be the ultimate fan hub for the All-Star Game. We’re already talking about making this an annual tradition, regardless of where the game is held.

Very disappointed by the management at PBS. I had a birthday party for my husband planned there and my husband blew out his back. I was in constant communication with one manager all week, who assured me (in writing) that I could reschedule the event, if need be, and would only lose 1/2 of my deposit. The day of the event, my husband was worse. I emailed immediately and did not hear back. I went in person to talk to a manager to make sure we could still reschedule. If not, we would have wheeled my husband in. I was assured, in person, that we could reschedule and that we would only lose 1/2 the deposit ($300). I was thrilled. I immediately texted our guests with the new date, only to receive an email the following Monday stating that they would be charging the full amount of a party we didn't have (including the 20% gratuity) to my card and that if I wanted to reschedule, I would have to pay the full amount again. I emailed back and was pretty upset for obvious reasons. The manager that told me we could reschedule said that he was given misinformation. I asked to speak to whoever his boss is, and received a call from him (Cannon) two days later, only to be told that I was lying. I realize (and I told him this) that the contract states I will lose my money if I cancel within 72 hours, which is why I went in person to ask if I could reschedule without penalty. Had I been told that I could not, I would have wheeled my husband in. I, obviously, preferred to reschedule so that he could enjoy his party, but had no desire to completely throw away $1300. I did everything I could to come up with a compromise (I said, 'keep the whole deposit, but please let us reschedule and pay the difference'), and was met with very rude responses from Cannon. I am extremely disappointed about the whole situation, as I hosted a party there for work, and it went great. I will never use them again now and I would encourage others to consider finding a different venue. The customer service is extremely lacking and the staff clearly does not communicate with each other, which is the whole reason this happened to begin with. Sad to have to even write this up. I was hoping they would be more willing to...

Piss poor. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. This was our second time here. Our first experience was bad, but we decided to give them another chance. Bad idea. The food is okay, nothing special. The service is abysmal. After taking our order and bringing our drinks, our waitress disappeared and only came back to our table twice, and we only got one refill on one of the drinks the entire time we were there. There were 3 in our party and two of us got our food and finished eating before the 3rd person in our party got theirs. 20 minutes after we got our food, the 3rd order was finally brought out. We told the person that brought the food to have our waitress come over, that we would just cancel it. Instead of coming to our table, she stood at the end of the bar talking to the manager and pointing at us. Very rude. The manager came to the table and asked us if there was an issue, and when we explained what happened, she said, "I know," in a very condescending way and also didn't really seem to care that the food took as long as it did, offered us a free round of alcoholic drinks but we clearly only had tea and water on the table. We will never go back here. Something needs to be done with not only the training of the servers to make them actually want to care about resturant hospitality, but also with the training of management on how to handle situations with upset tabels without being condescending and seeming as though they do not care. At the end of the day, the servers rely on tips from guests to make a liveable wage most of the time, so at least acting like they cared shouldn't be as hard as our server was...

We visited your restaurant on Saturday, August 12. We were seated after we finished our alcoholic drinks. The hostess' were very attentive and nice. We had been sitting for awhile and several servers were walking by our table but no one stopped to serve us. I went back to the hostess stand to let them know that no one had been over. She apologized and brought waters over and told the server. A white lady came over to the table and said what can I get you? I was Stunned as to the approach by her, I told my husband that I didn't want to eat here. She walked away. Didn't apologize or anything. We were leaving but I wanted to get her name. I went to the hostess stand and the server in question was standing there. I asked for her name and she just smirked. I expressed my dissatisfaction of her demeaner and service to her and she was defensive saying it wasn't her rotation. As a paying customer, is this how you talk to your potential customers? The conversation got heated and the hostess went to get the manager. He came over (once again no one introduced themselves) and asked what was going on. We tried to explain the situation to the manager and the server tried to butt in. My husband told her that he was talking to the manager. Her exact words were "I don't have time for this". Totally unbelievable that this type of behavior was presented. The manager never apologized for her behavior nor did he offer to seat us again to be taken care of. I AM TOTALLY DISSATISFIED WITH THIS LOCATION...
