Horrible, horrible, horrible customer experience. They made people wait outside when the announced act wasn’t even in town at the time when doors were supposed to open. He then recorded a video from a commercial airplane saying that he is now going to hop on a private jet to still get there. Two hours before the announced new time, there was still no crewmember from this act even in town, according to the people at the arena. Requesting a refund the person on site said they couldn’t do that because the act was still coming and is currently booking a private jet. Who wants to wait for hours OUTSIDE during the Iowa winter? There was no significant delays into Cedar Rapids that afternoon, so that would indicate that they could’ve announced the delay way earlier - but instead, it was announced just before the doors were supposed to open, and then the doors were announced to remain closed for another two hours. As the doors were supposed to open again for the delayed time it was announced that the concert was now rescheduled until tomorrow. After contacting everyone and their brother, the Xtreme Arena eventually refunded our tickets later that night. No clear cut announcement to refunds was made however on social media as many others were commenting about it. Overall: Bad customer experience, planning apparently and communication strategy.

Beautiful new arena and athletic fieldhouse in one of Iowa's best neighborhoods. Attended the Iowa Heartlanders game on Nov. 27 and despite the loss, it was a great experience. The facility is top notch with great local vendors and beer (Backpocket and Big Grove Brewery are some of the beers available), comfortable seats and state-of-the-art technology. There's plenty of parking in several nearby ramps or on-street parking - if you're coming from out of town for an event here, I'd recommend spending some time shopping and eating at spots along E. 2nd Avenue like Marquee Pizza, Tribute, Von Maur, Lululemon and Cielo Goods. The neighborhood is much nicer than some areas adjacent to NHL hockey arenas, notably the Minnesota Wild's surrounding neighborhood in Saint Paul. Here you can eat, shop and drink all before or after a game. A great addition to the area!

Fun, BUT PLEASE ADD Hand Rails above section 114 but for SURE Above Section 115 once U get up to leave I made way to isle, headed up steps, holding hand rail. The gaps are Really Not acceptable for unhandicapped people even.. but let alone anyone whom needs a railing.. I had to crawl on which was luckily an empty chair. I had touse to put my hands on instead of the FLOOR, as I am craving between the gap in the hand railing in center of isle it is Wayy Too much. You Really, Please also U will Need to add a Left hand rail in the cement wall on Left as Urheaded up last landing below top steps just before top where U can Leave or walk to Bathroom or Food concessions etc.

Thank You,, but You probably Need someone to show, and To demonstrate the difficulties of some People. With cans or crutches. It's something that could have Ben designed better beforehand but now, With understanding Xtream Arena just needs a few more railings & or some hand bars to grab and pull urself up to top without putting hands on People seating or unfortunately no other choice but try to squat crawl with hands on the filthy floor.

Thank...

Absolutely horrible experience Saturday at this venue the person next to me was very disrespectful rude and scared me by the way he was acting leaning on me with his body weight calling me names putting there feet up in my face. I talked to police and the arena staff and they would do nothing but move me spots at that point I was upset crying and ready to go home my hole entire night was ruined but this establishment basically forcing me to stay some where I felt 100% uncomfortable and not safe. Or I was out $300 they won’t do anything for me at all. I decided to leave and lose $300 I wasn’t even able to see him sing. It says a lot about a company if the only option I had was to stay somewhere I felt uncomfortable and after the fact they will do NOTHING!!! I will be spreading the word everywhere no one should ever have to be in that situation ever. This was my first night I had been out sense having twins. It’s so sad company’s like this done care about...
