Lockdown On The LEX—Ultimate Escape Rooms — Attraction in Corpus Christi

Was very difficult to understand instructions on some of the papers. Story set up was well done but it was boring being told exactly what to do and having to wait on clues to make any progress. At the end when our group could not figure out how to turn something on an employe yelled in a harsh tone over the very loud speaker. The last 5 mins we couldn’t hear anything over the very loud sounds in the final room after the alarm started blaring. And finally at the end we are told we “have” to have a picture by the employee and when we requested to not have our picture taken he said “I can be nice about it or I can be rude”. He said we signed in the contract that we had to have our picture taken which if it is there it is on us but there’s no reason we should have to have our picture taken. Worst escape...

Lockdown on the Lex escape room Face Your Fears was not like normal escape rooms. I would not recommend for those that: Cannot see well as it is very dim with little light. Have mobility issues as you must climb some ship deck stairs/ladders to the lower deck and then over the high door thresholds. Do not like haunted houses as this room has things that pop out of things, bangs, sounds of spooky, there was a live person under a sheet that ran out at us. There will be one step that requires someone to get locked into a cabinet so beware. The staging of the room was not properly setup before our time so the clues solved did not produce what we needed to proceed. Beat the blast escape room. I do not recommend this escape room (ER). Our family has done ERs all over the contry. This ranks as the worst. You are in a room with A LOT of stuff that does nothing or is marked DO NOT TOUCH. (What a waste of time) It is very dark, we were given 5 flashlights 3 did not work, the other 2 flickered due to bad batteries. Without lights, it will be near impossible to solve puzzels or read anything. Staff blamed Amazon. Clues were extremly vague and mostly not helpful. Staff was very robitic and not helpful at all. Not worth almost $200 for 5 people. Save your money and go somewhere else.
