Both my late mother (and subsequently me) have been regulars of Luv Nails for 15+ years. Prior to the current ownership. And the new, current owner is well aware of that salient fact. After my mother‘s death, five years ago, I continued to frequent Luv Nails, but, sadly, last Saturday I received what has to be, without question, the worst manicure I have ever experienced, let alone borne witness to. It looked like I had chewed my nails (to the quick) rather than have them professionally ‘tended’ to. After my manicure/pedicure, Instead of respectfully complaining to the owner in the middle of a very busy so long, I came in two days later on Monday. I shared with her (with the utmost consideration) that never have I ever had such a poor manicure. Pointing out my nails were way too short and freakishly uneven, and, as previously stated, appeared to be fingers of a child who chewed on them with abandon. She offered to “fix it“. There’s no way to fix it. No one could, Tme would be able cut them any shorter- without cutting into my skin. At the very least, I expected her to offer me my next manicure at least half off. If not free. She inquired “why would I do that”. I told her take a good long, hard look, and before deciding, considering decade and half of patronship. She said she wasn’t willing to do it so I told her “you’ve just lost a good, loyal customer’....
Read moreI had one of the most disappointing experiences here. I’m super simple, just looking for a basic pedicure once in a while and last time I came in the lady didn’t cut my nails enough so it just felt like I got my feet washed, and I still tipped $20 on a $30 pedi, because I value service and people’s time, some service. This time I chose to give them a second chance, and I was left to wait in water for half an hour. The water was cold, my feet were wrinkled, I just wish the owner would have told me they didn’t have adequate time, on top of it all, I brought a second person, offering more business to them. Finally I got up, and just walked out, if there is one thing that frustrates me the most is a lack of integrity when it comes to merchant-client business. I would rather come back another time than wait and be left in the back corner of a space with minimal communication. Was my money to them worth my loss of time and disappointment? I would have even came another day. The first thing I said when walking in was asking if they had time for...
Read moreTERRIBLE/ rude service I had been coming here for some time now always very nice the owner Hannah is there most of the time. I had gotten my nails done this last time and within a week they kept on breaking (paid $60) So I went back the last time and asked if they could just remove them bc it was getting so annoying going back and forth. She then said it was my fault when I haven't been doing anything different and denied service to me and ignored me Have never had someone be so rude over work that their salon provided.. Even the first time I went back they wanted me to come back a different day because they were busy! As if it was my fault I said couldn't then Hannah fixed them for me but had an attitude toward me the whole time. I didn't complain or say anything even after being given bad attitude... She said I was rude.... I Really wasn't I asked kindly and got attitude back and even called before just for a pedi and they were more than willing to take me in but as soon as I brought up fixing my nails immediately got a...
