We cane down from New York for your finale event. We booked 3 tickets for the trolley tour. We were made to believe we would be seeing truly private and exclusive locations that are not offered on your regular tours.Unfortunately we were completely ripped off.Not only was the trolly so packed that a poor woman had to sit on floor but we missed several promised locations.Which was the reason for us taking the tour as well as our understanding of why this tour was so expensive. I understand that things happen and you couldn't avoid that woman getting hurt and not opening the gate but at the same time that is not our problem either. We should have had the chance to see more locations or receive a partial refund. You did offer a .50 cent beaded necklace to make up for it but I think we both know how silly that offer is. And now reading other reviews I see you offered a T-shirt to some. You are all over the place it seems! That tour was a complete rip off and you know it. Not only was that awful but the entire event was ran horribly. No one knew what was going on and they were completely RUDE! I felt like trash getting screamed at because of the STAFF'S LACK OF ORGANIZATION not a PAYING CUSTOMER! Two of the autographs I purchased for myself and my two sisters the talent was not in the signing room when we finally got into the building after 5 1/2 hours waiting online in the pouring rain. So those tickets were $128 for 4 autos that we could not get because the actors we're not there. We were told to get off that long line for certain autographs and when we did we were told that was the wrong information and to get back on the line and every time we were sent back to the line we had to get in the back of the line because we lost our space. We spent well over 5 and 1/2 hours on the mainline not to mention how many times we had to get back on another line for someone else the entire day was spent waiting on line. While the Q & A was going on we were waiting on line for Marcel and Alaric's autographing. It almost felt as if we were getting penalized for buying several autographs and meet and greets. ON TOP OF ALL THAT NONSENSE I purchased a meet and greet with Paul for my sister.Well she was unfortunately in the last meet and greet session and her meet and greet was SUPPOSED to be 30 mins and it was only 9 minutes. She was one of the first to get her photo and she was rushed out of the room right after. She clocked it at a total of 9 minutes in the room with him with 24 other girls. She purchased a 30 minute meet and greet! ALSO the "professional" photo was not at all professional. She expressed that who ever was in charge was trying to take the "professional photo" in between two tables. That is awful. You should have had a solid back drop or something "professional". $300 for 9 minutes and a photo is a complete rip off. The large and professionally ran event in Nashville is only $160 for a photo. You took advantage of the fans of this show and it's awful. I am beyond disappointed and it sadens me that the show and it's actors put so much faith in you to provide these memories for THEIR fans and you instead took advantage of us all. And at the end of the finale when Alaric was coming out of his meet and greet he was prepared to take selfies with a handful of fans that were waiting. My sister was ready and he was cheek to cheek with her ready to snap a selfie and there you came barging through to stop it. After all of the dispointment from the day that right there spoke volumes of your true nature and your business. I see a little bit of success has...
Read moreI will have to give this tour 2 Stars and that's being generous. Our tour started at 2pm and we were the first of many to arrive at 1pm with (2) cars in the parking lot ahead of schedule. No one was inside to let you know what to do or where to let someone know that you had arrived. So ,we sat and waited. Close to the time of the tour and as it was getting crowded, I decided to walk towards the back and the tour directors were in the back signing people in and NOT at the front desk???? Wow, would have been nice to know that they had arrived and in the building!!! So, of course we were the first to arrive and the last to be seated. Now my boys had a nice time because they're fans of Vampire Diaries. The tour itself was not bad, it was just not comfortable. If you're over 6'0 foot tall then it's in your best interest to sit towards the front of the tram. My husband is 6'6, I'm 5'11 and my boys are 6'1 & 6'2. We were given the option for (my husband) to sit in the front with other people (ummmm okay) however when you pay as a group and come with a group then you want to sit with your group. Now online they tell you what you need to do to be comfortable and to be on time and all that good stuff to make more money and you won't be refunded if you can't fit on the tram however when we asked for our entire row to be switched with the people in the front then the tram director said, it was up to the people in the front? "Really", Of course it was "crickets" with them due to the fear of missing out on something by sitting in the back. "Go Figure", anyways, we sat in the back and made the best of a tight situation. The tour itself was nice for my kids but miserable for us. We did learn of other movies & shows that were created in Covington that we weren't aware of. However, the things you do to please your children. Then at our last stop the director say's, everyone can walk back because we're only a block over if you want to? No ma'am, we paid close to $300, so we're going to be driven back. Not going to pay to ride something just to walk! Overall the food at the Clocktower was really good and we bought souvenirs and went home. Would we do this again, probably NOT! My children can go back when they can drive themselves! It was a NO for ME! Honestly, you have...
Read moreLook, being a good writer myself, an ex Indy fed wrestler, and into acting and a big fan of Julie peck and The Vampire Diaries Haha, I wanted to talk to Julie, although she's a celebrity now, so, poof there goes my chance..anyway, I was feeling, hmm let's say what every other teen says that watches this show, I was feeling epic. So I sat down at the bar and had a drink, I went into the downstairs gift shop, bought a necklace for my 2 year old daughter and a lil bear and named him Dr. Fuzz. The energy in this place was positive and mystical (đ¤Ł) no, for real though, the employees were super nic. One employee that stood out was this one lady she had sandy blond short hair she was the nicest lady I swear I've ever met. I am pagan and my stones were def. Scensing good energy! Of Course I was telling people how lucky they were to work there. Being able to meet Julie and seeing people from the show must be pretty awesome from time to time. I didn't want to be one of those people that was asking stupid questions that you already know about if you really pay close attention to the show, but I did ask the bartender, and it went something like this, I said, "look I'm going to ask a stupid question you can give me a stupid answer that's totally fine because I'm on my second Long Island iced tea." So I asked her where in the hell is the pool table!! đłđ. Right then and there I realized they have an extra Warehouse that they bought, rented, whatever and turned it into the mystic grill. They were really cool bar tenders. Yes of course I sat in the seat that had Damon's name on it. And then my boyfriend set in a Alaric's chair. They had something going on for bike week. That was bad azz to! Well anyway there's my review with a certain type of amazing show that I watch. Then I was attacked and turned into a vampire. I stormed through the lil town called Covington and stole all those pesky blood bags!! Baha ( ( picture is test makeup I did for my own vampire skript I haven't finished yet! ) From 2008. Of course not much can beat Julie's mastermind and of course Kevin's but I've got an amazing mind...
