Patrick Jones Gallery 1400 Hi Line Dr Dallas, TX Date: Thursday, Sept 07, 2023 Time: 6pm-9pm More about the Artists: René Romero Schuler: In every work I create, I strive to show the imperfection, stress and underlying beauty of the being I portray. There are no fine characteristics or clearly defined attributes to my figures — they are everyone and no one. The meaning lies in the representation of the image, not the image or the “face value” itself. Brad Fuller: In the 90’s I was a young artist attending college in Michigan. I discovered that if I took the reins off my imagination and if I let it go I could produce abstract and interesting art that captured people’s imaginations. It always fascinates me to listen to someone’s interpretation of a work because their version is not always what I intended but I am pleased that the work takes on a life of its own. A quarter of a century later I find myself trying to capture some of the same energy in my paintings as I had produced years back, with the mind set that they can be interesting and beautiful conversation pieces in someone’s home. Nature, Music, bright colors, bold contrasts, mixed media, and the fusion of old and new works has been the focus of this exhibition. I hope you enjoy. Walking into the Gallery I was greeted by the Amazing Gwinny Moving around the magnificent art pieces was delightful and soothing for me. It feels like a place I would sit, relax and meditate around all the creative space Conveniently located off N Stemmons Fwy in Dallas Parking is available on the second floor at no cost.
