Incredibly disappointed with the customer experience here - I made a small purchase (for this brand) and I didn't notice an additional extra shipping fee they've added on in addition to the normal shipping charges. UPS delivered the hand soap I ordered to another house and I reached out to Joanna Czech to see if I could get a replacement or get reimbursed and they told me they wouldn't do anything to help me because I didn't add the additional shipping charges and it was against their policy. I didn't notice the additional shipping charges on the site when I made the purchase and it honestly blew me away how awful their customer service response was especially since it was such a small purchase - they charge hundreds and thousands of dollars for services and products daily so $50 shouldn't be revenue impacting to them. This experience will definitely keep me from purchasing anything in the future from Joanna Czech or scheduling any facial appointments, I don't care how good Joanna Czech thinks she is, her customer-facing response team is damaging her brand. I also agree with another review that stated Joanna Czech has really gone down and for the money you spend here, it should be top notch. Read moreI went to Joanna Czech this winter after a particularly rough military training exercise and medication switch really troubled my skin. The esthetician was great, however the women at the front were awful. One of them had made a mistake on the website saying that all services were at least 90 minutes long, they’re not. When I came out from my facial, only 60 minutes, I confronted her about the issue. At that time there was no explanation, only a 350$ bill, and that was it. I was pretty upset and after reconfirming my memory after re-reading “90 minute-long treatments” on the website, called back to discuss my concerns. The woman who picked up was at first extremely rude and effectively told me I was the one in the wrong. When her co-worker came on the phone and told me she had made the mistake on the website, and they had given me a discount when I paid but not told me, I realized that this place is not well-run. I was told to book early after my last facial in January . I booked the appointment in February. I called this morning at 10:00, 30 minutes earlier to say I might be 5 minutes late due to the rain and heavy traffic . I stated my name and appointment time . The receptionist told me “ no problem” . As a 60 year old with more money than time , I find this totally unacceptable. I will not be back . I will not buy any products from your store and I will share my experience with anyone who will listen . I just finished a 24 hour in hospital call shift, came home and waited 2 hours to drive downtown in the rain only to be offered a “complimentary “ facial at a future date which I don’t have in the near future .
