I’ve gone to this Michael’s multiple times and it was quite a shock to have received rude customer service yesterday right at closing (shocker) from someone who I can honestly say I don’t believe to be a manager or supervisor of the store, the way she came off. Over 90% of all their stickers were on clearance for either $.50 or $1.00 and several were ringing up full price. I took the liberty to take a photo of an item I really wanted to purchase so they can honor the price tag. The young gentleman helping me was checking me out and with a smile making conversation, when this young probably in her 20’s female came to scan the sticker on the portable price tag scanner, she tried to argue that it was full price with my phone on her other hand clearly seeing the photo I took had the correct description of the sticker for $1!!! So I told her then they should correct the price tag because that particular item was clearly priced wrong in their system, abs twisted her lips and put the portable price tag scanner right to my face so I can see the price it was scanning. She did realize what she had done was rude and told me she didn’t meant to be but kept arguing and never honored the price, then as she checked someone else out and I finished with my purchase, she loudly told one of the other employees to put the stickers I didn’t want to take back on the shelf in that moment. My purchase wasn’t even completed. I don’t think I’ve ever walked out that store spending less than $100 but I don’t think I’ll be going back there. No one has the right to put a scanner on a customers face abs on top, not honor a price that was purposely labeled correctly on the shelf but somehow showing the wrong price in the system! VERY rude I almost want to return everything I purchased and make that woman do...

My LAST experience EVER with any Michael's Store any location. They lost my business and I have filed an official complaint with the Better Business Bureau regarding bait-and-switch pricing. The Michael's website advertised .99¢ for Artist's Loft Level 1 Acrylic Paint, so of course I got on the bus in 100°F heat to take advantage of the sale. I treated myself to a tube of Liquitex Level 3 Acrylic White at 50% off. When I cashed out, I noticed that the management was in the register next to me. I always try and say hello and make small talk, because she's a nice person towards me. I left and went on my way. I did not bother to check my receipt due to elation. I was truly excited about PAINT. One week later, I have a 50% off one item coupon and intended to spend some money. I pulled out my receipt and noticed that I was charged $2.00 ea instead of .99¢ ea per tube. So I showed the manager my receipt, the difference would have added up to $10.00. They couldn't find it in their system and suggested that I contact Michael's corporate. So, I did. They could not find the previous deal either, and didn't seem to care that I'm on a fixed income and spent ALL extra money in that store. They acted as if I were Cray and weren't interested in coming to a solution, so I informed them via phone that they lost my business, my family's business, and I would post online my opinions about my personal experience. It's really bad to choose to lose a customer over TEN dollars. Caveat Emptor ! Previous review: (When Michael's has a 60% off one item coupon, it can't be beat(which isn't often). Check the website before going into the store. They now have purchase online and same day pickup. The employees at this location are very friendly...
Read moreI went in looking for a Christmas tree, no problem. The problem was at self checkout. I brought up a slip of paper that stated take up to checkout see associate (something along those lines) there were 2 associates checking people out. And 8 self checkout stations. I was not holding up the line I kept telling the people behind me I needed an associate and they could go in front of me and self check out. Then at a certain point, most self checkout stations were filled but 2 and there was now a line behind me, because the associates were dealing with large baskets. I have a completely different associate come up to me and state you need to go to one of these if you need to checkout I told her I have this and I need to checkout with an associate I have questions. She states they are only doing returns(not what I saw tho) you can ask later after you check out. After I check my self out I sit there for 15 min waiting for someone to bring me the tree I purchased all because I was rushed by a rude employee. I checked out then waited 5 min to talk to one of the 2 cashiers because guess what while I was checking out myself they took the next people that could have used self checkout. She could have gone and called for the tree as she was checking me out but I was forced onto self checkout. They're running around looking for the tree to tell me it's outside and nope it wasn't you're going to keep a $500 tree outside yeah no you had the $100 ones outside. No wonder people don't come here. They need to train their employees better. Very rude and unknowledgeable. You need to stop forcing self checkout on people just because YOU don't...
