Preston Valley Shopping Center was one of the roughest shopping experiences I have had in a long time. From the moment we pulled in it felt off. The parking lot is confusing and crowded, and instead of feeling like a convenient central hub it felt like chaos. Spaces were tight, traffic was impatient, and the overall layout made it a headache just to get settled. That sets the tone in the wrong direction before you even step inside.
The condition of the property was another letdown. Lighting in some areas was dim, the walkways did not feel particularly clean, and there was nothing inviting about it. It is a busy part of town and you would expect better upkeep, but it felt neglected. Even simple things like trash pickup or landscaping did not meet the standard you want when you are trying to shop and relax.
Inside, the vibe was no better. Stores themselves varied, but as a whole it did not feel cohesive or safe. That is not what you want in a shopping center, especially when there are so many other options nearby that offer a cleaner, more organized experience.
To put it simply, this place was a nightmare from start to finish. There is no shortage of shopping centers in the area, so my advice is to save yourself the frustration and pick literally...
Read moreI was there with a new puppy 2x within 4 days. The 1st time was kind of fast (few hours) for a tiny scratch & great staff. Very helpful. The 2nd time was a ridiculous amount of wait time. My puppy needed surgery because my cat ripped his side open sadly & ended up with 20+ stitches but people that came in an hour after me got in first. One saying their pet was seizing when it was an ear infection. So we were there for way to many hours until after closing. I got home a bit after midnight. I understand if someone has a worse case, yes they go in first but I had a bleeding crying 11 week old puppy & wasn't seen for hrs. Then the Dr. Leaves & it's shift change?? That made it longer & made me angry. So about $1000. After 2 visits I was upset. The staff was amazing but they need more doctors big-time. Don't ever go on a shift change anywhere from 5pm to 7pm. Not sure but that's why we were stuck there in the most uncomfortable seats (Hard Benches) ever. All the $$$ we pay at least have somewhere comfortable for us & the babies we bring in. Especially having to be there over 6...
Read moreWe stop at this little shopping center every time my husband and I have a date to go to the Dallas LDS temple.
We have tried the Thai food place, the Indian food place, and the Middle Eastern food restaurants. Next time I go I will update my review with names. What's crazy to me is that there's a Chili's in this parking lot, why would people eat at Chili's when the other restaurants are so amazing!
The Indian food restaurant was to die for! I seriously could not get that food in my mouth fast enough! It was so flavorful and so delicious. I felt bad because we didn't have a lot of time, but they brought us our food quickly and we enjoyed every bite!
The Middle Eastern restaurant is like eating at Grandma and Grandpa's house! I mean if your grandma and grandpa are Greek that is. It was a three-course meal with flavorful rice and delicious delicious food. Don't waste your time at Chili's, try these awesome flavorful...
