Coco 🐕 love's to walk me here. It's a beautiful complex surrounded by trees, the river, bark park is close, running trails, close to the downtown Dayton, Ohio area . Metro park areas in Dayton, Ohio are awesome. They give us the people who live here so much to do. Visit them and have fun 😁.

Deeds Point Metro Park is located at the confluence of Mad River and the Great Miami River. There are quite a few walking/biking trails that begin at the park. There is also a pedestrian bridge that goes over Mad River. The park has scenic views of the river and the Dayton Skyline.

Go there daily w/ my 5 black labs. Close, clean and free of nuisance people and dogs! I now have 6 dogs and we go there nearly every am to hike for an hour and forty five min to two hrs. Love the quiet of the park

Went to Deed's dog park. Best dog park around which, unfortunately, is now being threatened by the Conner Group. They are building a PRIVATE school next door and want to take the MOST of our park for a track after telling us that the park was safe. Now they are talking about taking over two acres of our 3-1/2 acre dog park. We'd lose access to water and our shelter. The dogs wouldn't have much room to run. Just think, this PRIVATE school is so the yuppies or whatever they are called now can have a school where their children don't have to go to school with the kids that go to Dayton...

Overall, it is a beautiful and well-maintained park. The dog park is enormous and has its own Facebook group so you can have meet-ups! The part by the river with the flowers is lovely. However, I wish the city would fund a clean-up of the baseball diamonds in the center. There is ALWAYS trash and broken glass around. Oftentimes it seems as though people leave abandoned cars there as well. Would not recommend going when it is dark.

PSA: The pedestrian bridge that connects to riverscape is still not open so don't attempt to park across the river and walk over...
