Canal Street Arcade and Deli — Restaurant in Dayton

Never done this before and if I did I’d be more likely to be supportive. New to area. Liked this place before. Single 5 minutes ruined. Work all day. Have a serious profession. Normally great food and good atmosphere. Tonight, Ordered my food was gonna decompress by playing their games. This place is great for takeout if you live near by and they have tournaments that seemed cool. I just moved to the area and live 1 minute away. Saw myself a future regular but today when I wanted to eat my sandwich and get quarters to play the games the machine ate my $5 the woman who was working the bar told me it would be a minute then when she finally got to the machine I had eaten the sandwich and just was ready to let it go and head home. When I communicated her it was fine she yelled at me told me to let her do her job. When she told me to have a good day and then whispered not to be a dick I left. Normally seems like a great place for someone to take family and friends. the staff seemed cool but after going there and giving them a lot of my money and having anyone who works there treat a person that is willing to walk in and spend money that way (regardless of what you have going on is crazy.

To talk to someone who willingly spends money and tips for takeout and was willing to eat a $5 loss that way and then proceed to juvenile name calling is uncool.

I am sad bc I was looking forward to taking my dad here but who knows. At least this means i can practice...

(Orginal comments)So I just moved back to Dayton and I used to remember a deli sandwich restaurant that was on 5th street. My friend told me about this restaurant since the 5street deli wasn't around anymore. Well I came into this restaurant on Sunday evening and it wasn't too busy but not too dead either. When I got my food I was amazed on how polite the Staff was and how good the food was this place is wonderful I give it a perfect 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟 and it's really cool that they have all the pinball machines in there also I loved the Italian sandwich. Get the large it's well worth it. 😄😁 I'll definitely comeback for more 😊🤓😎

So I returned to this deli after being away for so long and this time I brought my friend from Michigan to try out there food since I love it so much. Both me and her had a blast at this Establishment yet again you get a perfect 5 stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 from me again. This place is one of my number 1 restaurants to go to now. I will always recommend this place to anyone that wants...

Vegetarian: Some good vegetarian options on the menu. The Hari Curry was a unique take on an Indian style sandwich with Naan bread.

The environment was pretty cool. Very relaxing and fun. The beer was priced well and the selection was great. The jukebox had a wide variety of music for all tastes. The games were a great stroll down memory lane to a time when I'd spend hours in the arcade as a kid. Ran into a few where the controls didn't work but they were all free so I didn't stress about it. Just moved along to a different machine. It seemed crowded but there wasn't a problem playing the games I wanted on a busy Saturday night and I didn't have to wait to long for food or drinks.

My only complaint was the pinball machines were pay to play. Not really a problem but Pinbot seemed to have only one ball. I locked one ball and no more came out. I loved playing this when I was younger so it was disappointing not to get the full experience. Other than that, this place is amazing. I'm definitely...
