I wanted to hike on the trail that was mentioned in the website. But there’s no proper sign in the park that would tell you where exactly is the entrance to the trail. I think this park is more of a picnic area and less of a hiking park.

Very nice parks all over the place but my favorite is mamba mountain bike park you won’t be disappointed

Today (10/13/2024) was our second time to visit and see the trolls, and had a terrible experience with the clerk at the visitor center. Upon arrival at the parking lot we proceeded to the trail to the closest troll. We intended to double back to the visitor center to pay our entry fee for our ourselves and grandchildren. The clerk came out of the center and loudly yelled at us to not enter the trail and to pay first. After visiting the animals and trolls, my wife went back in to buy ice cream. The clerk again treated my wife very rudely in front of other customers lined up behind her. Very unacceptable behavior and treatment by a...

Park ranger was rude, incompetent and harassed us the entire day. Dayton is a dying city and us locals want to see it become what we know it can be by enjoying nature and all that the park has to offer. But the officer in duty Sunday August 13th 2017 at Eastwood lake in the morning and noon was not making that possible at all. I can say this for sure, I will NEVER go back there again. I would rather drive an hour away to somewhere like Alum creek where I know I can relax and spend time with my loved ones without someone like him...
