My wife and I waited outside for forty five minutes for a tour. The sign said open, but a tour was in progress and not to open the door, and that they would be back at four. Several people walked by inside and saw us outside waiting during that time. Finally after waiting ten minutes after four, we tried the door and it was open. We said hello, and the most unpleasant of women who vaguely resembled a blonde troll doll, ran out of nowhere, practically pushed us out of the door. In the most rude tone possible, she informed us that the last tour was at three. We pointed to her sign, and she informed us that someone had made a mistake. Without another word, the goblin adjacent Karen said that someone else made a mistake. I honestly thought I shouldn't even write this because I'm afraid that she'll read it and go straight to her bubbling cauldron and sic her flying monkeys on me. I don't usually throw insults, but it appears God himself beat me to it with this woman. Seriously seriously rude. Whoever this woman is should be fired immediately. I used to run the oldest community theatre in California, and if anyone like that entered through the doors, I would have directed her to get back on her broom...
Read moreWent to see a play on 5/7/21 . The play was extremely amateur for a $30-35 ticket. Pretty high, as Bruka and RLT charge $20-25 for a professional performance in Reno. The largest problem was lack of control of a drunk rude and noisy audience. The group was told that they could collectively make cheers and Boos. I guess that meant that every individual have their own timing and something to say. I understand that most of the audience was family and friends of the actors. If my family and friends did this to me they would never be allowed back in any theater I perform in. But then my family and friends would never do that as they know how to be considerate and mature. The evening was over when one of the actors tried to stop the audience from making their comments. And was completely ignored.
