Aromas Frozen Yogurt — Attraction in Denver

Very overpriced and rude staff. I was with a few friends and decided to go to the food court to get frozen yogurt. Upon walking in, I wasn't greeted. There were two ladies standing behind the counter. One was a taller Indian lady who seemed to be training the younger one behind the counter. I politely asked if there were small cups for samples and the tall Indian lady bluntly told me no. I then asked for a spoon to try the flavors out of my cup and assured her I would buy something and got the same reaction. I was taken aback because I have never been to a frozen yogurt spot that doesn't offer samples. Regardless I continued and filled up by bowl about halfway. One of my friends put a wafer in my bowl to snack on later. When I put bowl on the scale my total came out to 17 freaking dollars! FOR ONE BOWL HALFWAY FULL. I swallowed my pride and went to tap my phone for Apple Pay and as it was confirming my friend goes to grab her wafer cookie out of my bowl and the lady stops her and tells her that I hadn't payed for it yet, therefore she couldn't eat it. I understand the rules but the tone in which she said it and her facial expressions were very rude, especially since my Apple Pay was literally confirming and the payment was seconds away from going through right in front of her face. It was crazy that I got that kind of service to be spending almost 20 dollars on one bowl for some flavors we didn't even really know if we liked because they don't offer samples. Idk if maybe she thought we were trying to get one over on her because we were a group of teenagers walking in the mall or what but I was so polite to her and it really left a nasty taste in my mouth. Don't support this business, there are plenty of other frozen yogurt spots for way cheaper...

I visited this yogurt establishment today Sunday, August 4th, 2024. and encountered an unsettling experience. I simply requested a spoon to taste the ice cream I was pouring into my own cup. The young lady at the counter reacted disproportionately, making it seem like a significant issue. She refused my request outright. Only after noticing that I was with my mother did her demeanor change. This incident was deeply disheartening.

Another employee, who I believe was of Indian descent, approached me in a confrontational manner, asking me to repeat my request. I felt extremely uncomfortable, especially in front of my mother, who wears a headscarf. We are from Egypt and value decorum and respect, which is why I refrained from escalating the situation further or involving law enforcement.

I believe I was targeted based on my race and appearance. I hope the owner or mall management investigates this incident promptly to prevent this yogurt establishment from deteriorating further. I have been a loyal customer for years, but this experience was shocking and ruined my day. I am deeply dissatisfied and am considering legal action to address this...

If I could give 0 stars I would. My daughter, son and I went it to grab some frozen yogurt and I was asking my kids what flavor they wanted. My daughter touched one of the machines and I immediately told her to not touch it, and corrected her. I was about to go tell someone about it to get it cleaned up and the lady comes and attacks my daughter saying “don’t touch it!” Very rudely. She goes off on me and I tried to explain that I had already corrected my daughter about it and she has no right to be screaming at her over the situation. I understand there’s a whole pandemic going on and things like that are very touchy but a simple please don’t touch to her would’ve been sufficient. I am disgusted by the way she handled the situation and unless you want to give someone who is unprofessional your hard earned money I suggest you stay away. Reading these other reviews saying they over price IM GLAD I DIDNT BUY ANYTHING HERE! Next time lady think about how you handle a situation like that because you wouldn’t want someone to talk to your child like...
