This review is based on terrible customer service upon booking 3 first time clients, we never received a service.
NEW CLIENTS BEWARE!!! My 2 friends and I were gifted âa girls day outâ from our husbands.we planned this about a month out, made sushi reservations, overall we were really looking forward to this. I called on Tuesday 1/28, just before 5pm to make an appointment for 3 basic pedicures for this upcoming Saturday. They offered me a 3pm time slot and asked me to confirm my appointment after getting off the phone. I confirmed and entered in my credit card info immediately after. On Friday 1/31, I received a phone call at 1038am from the salon. I work 10hr shifts in a busy hair salon, so I stepped away from my client to answer this call. The woman told me there was some confusion upon booking and asked me to confirm our 3 pedicures with gel polish again. She asked me to confirm via text yet again, where I told her I did not have time at the moment to enter my credit info, as I was now running late with my current client and had 3 more back to back. She asked me to please confirm and enter my credit card by 3pm. I told her I would sometime by then, whenever I got a moment. Immediately after our phone call, I received a text at 1040am that my appointment was canceled. I did not see this text until 121pm, when I got a moment to check my phone. I was planning to enter my credit card then, but instead had to call again to ask what happened and if we still had our appointments. No one answered the phone at this time and I had to leave a voicemail. I had to go back to work, where I was double booked and would not get another break until 7pm when I finished. At 249pm, I received another text from a different number asking me to confirm my appointment. I missed this text because of my job. At 653pm, as I was completing my last haircut I see on my Apple Watch that my appointment is canceled again. At this point I was so upset, because I was seriously looking forward to this after such a busy work week. I called again at 7:02pm and left a long detailed voicemail. I then went to their online booking and tried to book 3 pedicures and it said they were fully booked. I then added to their wait list and left a very long detailed message in the notes.
I hoped when they opened Saturday morning they would call me back and make this right so I didnât have to tell my friends that we no longer had appointments, but here we are, no phone call, no email, no text message.
I genuinely regret telling the woman I had a gift card from my husband, because that means the salon was already paid for the service, so clearly I am not a priority to receive the service.
Fortunately, upon telling my friends the bad news, their husbands never actually purchased them a gift card for this salon like mine did, and that they just gave them money to go out for their nails. My husband has since filed a dispute with his bank.
Thanks Cherry Creek Nail Spa, you just lost 3 new customers, and two who would have been paying $150+ in services today.
Terrible customer service, Terrible communication. Terrible booking system. And this is coming from a service professional that books new clients. So disappointing.
Attached are photos of the wonky cancellations and the phone calls with...
Read moreI used to come here all the time and appreciated their quality of service but my last brief visit left me feeling awful and upset about my nails because they were zero help. I know fully well that this salon doesnât deal with acrylics. I had acrylics on my nails for several months but had them removed and replaced with shellac a few weeks ago by another salon. The girl who removed my acrylic and did my shellac at the other place intentionally applied extra layers of shellac since my natural nails were long but brittle. There was RESIDUAL acrylic left on maybe 2 or 3 of my nails, not even covering the whole nail plate. Within a week of having the acrylic replaced with shellac, 2 of my nails cracked right in the middle and I superglued them to hold me over until I could get them fixed (with another shellac mani). So I returned to Thai nail salon thinking theyâd be able to help, as Iâve gone there so often most of them know me by name. When I sat down with my nail tech (I think it was Sammy) I explained this whole thing to her over and over and she still questioned whether I had on full acrylics while she examined them and I assured her I had them removed (why would I lie?). I did not think I was asking for anything crazy, and would not have taken the time to drive out of my way here if I did not think they would be able to help. So she begrudgingly filed the shellac on my one hand then stopped and told me she couldnât help because they donât have the tools to remove acrylic. Even after I explained that it was just a thicker layer of shellac, not full on acrylic, she refused to file and soak the rest of my nails. So I left on the verge of tears feeling like I was made out to be an idiot, completely misunderstood, with one hand feeling like sand paper and the other completely untouched, shellac intact. If you are going to refuse to take the time to help me then maybe you should do so BEFORE you file away my shellac on one hand and then send me away. I wasnât so concerned about how they looked beforehand, mainly just wanting the two cracked nails sealed with gel. But after I left I was so bothered by how bad they looked/felt and it was too late for me to make it to another salon without an appointment. So I took the liberty of buying acetone and wrapped my own nails in foil and scraped the gel away myself. (see the first picture). Besides the fact that I had to do it on myself and use my non dominant hand, it was NOT that hard and could have easily been done by a professional if someone couldâve been bothered to help me. (See second picture) Itâs really unfortunate how one negative experience is enough to keep me from wanting to come back, but this...
Read moreI want to start this review by saying I am extremely picky about nail salons. They should be impeccably clean and the polish job, whether gel or regular, should be close to flawless. Why? Because getting your nails done is expensive and time consuming, and if I want an imperfect job I can do that myself for free, haha. I have gone to Cherry Creek Nail Spa for several years. I only go maybe three times a year. I like to get a pedicure once or twice a year, and I will occasionally get my nails done for an event.
Elexis was my pedicurist today and she was fantastic with great attention to detail.
Most of my experiences here have been good. But today I noticed the cleanliness was not as good as it usually is. There was a used piece of tissue (looked like a discarded toe spacer) in the cup holder of the massage chair. And the nail drying area where you can sit under the fans (by the windows) needed to be wiped off. Had wet hair and other spots on it. These cleanliness issues gave me bad vibes and made me question the cleanliness of everything else.
Last year, I got a spa manicure with regular polish (from an employee who no longer works there so at least thereâs that) and the polish chipped heavily the very next day. Ugh. I expect at least a few days without chips from regular polish applied properly. I was pretty pissed about that and so I probably will not get a manicure here again, unless itâs gel. I will say the few gel manicures I have gotten here did last...
