UPDATE: The employee straight up lied.
Problems with this location have been so consistent, for myself and others, that I decided to turn it into a kind of mini experiment. Today, at 3:30 pm, I drove by to see if they were open within their advertised hours (10th attempt). Of course, the orange cones were blocking both entrances. However, today, the donation bins were still sitting outside, and I saw an employee. I parked and walked up to the employee, and asked him what their regular hours were. He told me, 9 to 5 daily. I told him how many times I had been by in recent months and within what time frames, and asked why they are consistently closed before 3:30 If they're claiming they're closing time is 5:00 p.m. each day. His response was "Well today it's raining." ....ok.... I told him that again, I've been by nearly a dozen times in the last few months, when there's been no rain or snow, and the situation is the same - cones blocking all entrances, donation bins removed. His next response was "sometimes it's just one person, so it's too difficult." What does that even mean? It's too difficult to have cars drive up and place items in your bins? If there's more to it, management needs to be involved, and needs to post that this location absolutely never has guaranteed hours.
This is kind of ridiculous. Goodwill, get it together.
They are NEVER open until 5:00 p.m. I have driven by between the hours of 3:45 and 4:30 about 8 times in the last few months, and they are always, always closed down before that time. I understand staffing is short everywhere these days, but if you're consistently not going to stay open during your advertise hours, you need to change your...
Read moreAny place like this goodwill salvation armyiraq's. A lot of people give their clothes to them that aren't really good shape and you can get them for pennies.
And why wouldn't you because they've already been washed and worn a couple times so you already know they're at the size they are when you buy new clothes they shrink they fall apart the stitching goes out when you buy slightly use clothes you know what you're getting and they've already been through whatever they're gonna go through. And they are like 80% cheaper than they would be brand new. Use your head buy use clothes don't pay for new stuff because there's no guarantees after you wash it. Use clothes have already been washed and worn so you know the wear and tear that they're...
