Terrible experience. Would rate a 0 if I could. My husband got me a massage here for Mother’s Day. I’m 8 months pregnant & extremely stressed out. What I thought was going to be a relaxing, stress free experience, quickly turned into the opposite. Day off, I was extremely ill. Being 8 months pregnant and all…. We gave them a 4 hour heads up that we would like to change the appointment to the next day instead when I wasn’t as sick. The woman on the phone stated we wouldn’t be charged. We were confused why we would even be charged as we gave them enough time to let their employee know & we weren’t canceling. Just rescheduling. Had the employee on the phone made it known we would be charged for the appointment, we would’ve tried to make the massage work. However, that wasn’t the case. We were assured it would be ok. Later that evening, the salon began to text us…. Unprofessional. Trying to tell us we may be charged…. They also waited so late to do this to us that if we didn’t want to put up with this & go to the rescheduled appointment, we had no choice. Because we would be charged again for that appointment. Because they waited so long to inform us. They then said “we will talk about it tomorrow”… virtually giving us no chance at all and forcing us to come to the rescheduled appointment. They waited for me to go back to the room to speak to my husband about the issue. Stated they would not pay their employee if we didn’t pay…. Really weird for a company to not be paying their employee if something happens with a customer. They forced my husband to pay 50% of the rescheduled appointment which is still over $50. While I was getting the massage, which was equivalent to someone lightly touching me… aka not a massage at all and definitely not worth $120+… I wondered if this place even employed actual licensed professionals. They even started asking my husband for tips before I even got out. Making us super uncomfortable. Then they stated we would get 10% off the service but raised their pricing….. all around this was a bad experience. Had the employee told us we would 100% be getting charged for rescheduling an appointment, we wouldn’t have rescheduled and we definitely wouldn’t have gone to the second rescheduled appointment. We spent over $200 here for an experience that stressed us out even more than we were before. The entire vibe of this place is unprofessional and they’ve inspired us to not support local businesses and to instead go to a trusted and established company where they aren’t as shady and unprofessional. If you’re going to charge people and your employee states you’re not going to be charged…. That should be on your employee and not the customer. The customer service was top notch, especially in the very beginning when they understood with a very caring disposition and made honest reccomendations based on something serious my husband is experiencing. That alone is difficult to find in todays world. Everything is so manufactured or robotic. There was a scheduling mix up on my end so we didnt end up getting the women that specialized with deep tissue specifically but Laura was able to indetify the problems, give a great massage and give us homework!! My husband can intimidate people lol. Dark haired, dark eyed and a quite quiet Harley guy but they both took too each other well and he thought it was a solid experience. We do need to book with Julia or Jessica only because he needs a bit more power behind the massage and thats the only reason why. I went here for a prenatal massage with Ryan. The studio was clean, quiet, and very relaxing. Ryan was excellent and honestly exceeded my expectations given it was a prenatal massage (my previous prenatal massages have been… weak. None of which were are white lotus). He asked the right questions about my pregnancy and any concerns I had. And the pressure was perfect. Seriously, thank you! It was so relaxing.

The only thing I would add which I wouldn’t dock a star for because Ryan was so great was, my husband bought a gift certificate based on the price he saw on the website and added a tip. He forwarded the email with the gift certificate but It only showed the amount without the tip. Thankfully my husband had given me the heads up he took care of the whole session and the front desk corrected the error when I provided his receipt. I add this story only for the fact that if you get a gift card and somebody else bought it, make sure you know if there was a tip added since the email forwarded to you won’t say it.
