CLP Jewelry - LoHi — Local services in Denver

As context, I rarely write online reviews (unless a service is "above and beyond"). Also, I'll let the quality and diverse jewelry selection at CLP speak for itself (check out their stores or online shop for yourself). But what I would like to speak to here is the high level of customer service that helped me navigate a challenging jewelry gifting mis-step (my own doing). To sum it up, while I personally thought a particular turquoise necklace would be PERFECT for my wife as a special occasion gift, after a few weeks of thinking about it she eventually fessed up and told me that turquoise just isn't her thing. But instead of me being left with an awkward gift failure and a very nice turquoise necklace sitting forever unworn in my wife's jewelry box, Brooke and Christy at CLP went "above and beyond" by genuinely understanding my predicament and being willing to help me and my wife find a way out of it. And we did. They asked if my wife could come into the store to do an exchange for other items that fit her fancy more. For a similar price as my first turquoise necklace purchase, she found two very cool and complementing necklaces that she loves!... and has worn almost daily since. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. I had been looking forward to getting “forever jewelry” and was okay with spending the $300+ on a bracelet since this would be a long term accessory for me. We asked if there was any special care required and they said there was not and to go about life like we always do because they are meant to last.

First it fell off within a week and luckily I felt it fall off so I was able to take it back in to have it put back on. Then another 2 weeks later it happened again. However, the second time I wasn’t lucky enough to feel it fall off so it is now “forever” gone.

I went in to see what options they could provide me and they told me it was basically to bad for me and it was their policy to not do anything for a situation like that.

I have an office job, so light duty work outs and don’t use any harsh chemicals or products. Don’t waste your money coming here because they do not stand behind their craftsmanship or the products they sell. Their are other companies in town who offer this service so I highly recommend going...
