Beautiful splash pad and covered pavilion right on the Detroit River and the Riverwalk.
Started coming here last summer with my then 2yo - she liked it then -- she LOVES it now. I'd say this splash pad is good for kids of all ages but definitely geared towards the 2-6yo crowd.
The pavilion is great - lots of tables and chairs. There is a snack shack but as far as I can tell - it's just snacks. If you're in need of lunch - Atwater Brewing is a beautiful, short walk down the riverfront and it's pretty kid friendly.
Parking is free but if you're here on a weekend - come early.

For parking, there's a small lot and some street parking at the end of Mt Elliott, next to the Moto rental bicycles. While the park is open year round, the splash pad only runs Memorial Day through Labor Day.
This is one of the parks along the Riverwalk. Great stop for folks on bicycles and an easy ride from the DNR adventure center, Milliken Park, the Cullen carousel, and Downtown.
Have been here several times with my toddlers and have always found the other parents and kids to...
