For a supermarket it is good. It has a wide variety of food and cooking/cleaning supplies, especially after the renovation it had a year or 2 ago. They have expanded their multiethic food section (which is pretty extensive now) and provide towards the back some of the proper cooking pans needed such as woks, etc. It's convenient if you live in the area but for some items you pay for that convenience. It's alright but it does have some good upsides such as having a UPS package delivery locker and a coin counter. It also has a counter where you can purchase pizza and shwarmas on the go. The problem with shopping at a organic grocers is the opposite - Traditional items are harder to find. University Foods is nice because they bridge the gap for both. The selection is a bit more limited for those on a budget, but that doesn’t mean that this place doesn’t have rock-solid deals if you know how to shop right (and I’d like to hope that an increase in patronage would lead to an increase in purchasing power for the store.)
