I ordered a textbook for I think 150 dollars that was used. They didn’t have the used book so they went ahead and charged me 280 dollars for the new one, and they don’t let you opt out of this just tell you that when it’s ready for pickup. They also wouldn’t let me simply cancel the order online or over the phone, so now I have to drive over there to deal with it. It’s so frustrating having to do this for half my books every semester— they should either start saying what is actually in stock or have an opt out option for replacing it with the more expensive thing. Sometimes people don’t have the money to have their textbooks double in price with no heads up! Amazon, Chegg or the Facebook group for Wayne student textbook exchanges is the best bet, they end up being way cheaper and less...
