Film is not gone! The Photo Spot is a Mecca for those if us who adore and still use the analog film process. When you take your film to The Photo Spot, your roll of film will come to life when they carefully process it in their clean and professional lab. Walking in is like a trip back in time. The ever so slight aroma of developing fluid, the technicians busily working on film and the buzz of the machines turning out your prized Pulitzer potential photos. I dropped off my film and asked for only developing and they were more than happy to oblige. No pressure and no attitudes await you as you walk up to the counter. Just real people doing their best work and they are happy you are there. They have plenty of fresh film and some free advice too! I’m shooting film again and I’m making the drive to Douglasville!

My new favorite spot to get film developed! I started playing with film about 8 months ago. I live a mile from little 5 points so had been frequenting a local film shop in that area but their service has just gone down hill. I decided to visit The Photo Stop, which was an hour longer commute than I’m used to taking to drop my film off, but it was worth every minute. I needed a quicker turn around to get the photos back and boy did The Photo Stop deliver! I got my photos back within 2.5 hours of drop off AND it was half the cost of what I’m used to paying! Recently was given an old Canon EOS Rebel G as a gift and tried my hand at some film photography. Unsure of where to get it developed I went to a local store in Atlanta and was told I needed to drive to Douglasville to give the The Photo Spot a visit. Despite it being out of the way I decided to make the venture out west in good faith and I'll tell you now this will continue to be my routine!!
