I tagged along to my husband’s conference that ended on Valentine Day. We decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day a few days early so we could spend some alone time together because of the timing of his work function. We had reservations and ate at the 1832 Steakhouse, which was excellent and highly recommend, and then to see a movie afterwards. We saw Knock at the Cabin, not your typical VD movie, but it kept our interest and we had a good time. The theater exceeded my expectations for a theater in a casino. It was comparable to to oversized, reclined chairs ones we have in the DFW area. It was clean, quiet and the workers were very friendly. Read moreThese stars don't shine so bright. It's a brand new cinema with brand new equipment. So why can I barely see the screen. My wife and I watched Blood Wars at this theater and I though "it's just a dark movie". Then we watch Spiderman. We struggle to see the movie even during the daylight scenes. The only saving grace was that some of the floors light were out. I don't know if they were broke or if they were shut of by an attentind that felt sorry for the paying patrons. Either way it was a good thing. The floor light were twice as bright as the screen. I felt like I missed haft the movie. I wanted to demand our money back, but we were trying to enjoy a night out. Read moreWhere to start... 1st they have a promotion. A strike with a gold pin in the one position. One employee said to let them know if I got one and they could pull it up on camera and co firm it. I got the strike and informed the one employee they had keeping an eye out for the promotion who I had to go find and he informed me he had yok know ahead of time. 2nd The district is a place for kids to play and the only available drinks close is a bar who doesnt carry cups for regular drinks.
