Full set acrylic extension, gel. The extensions where put on at an angle (2nd picture). She just glued whatever size she guessed would fit. Sanded of the cuticles without using cuticle remover. The acrylic was very lumpy. When shaping I requested square round. It was too square so I asked to round it a little bit more and its now looks like almond shape. After my appointment I looked at my nails and they are horrible. I didn’t want to go back to get it fixed because it would have to be the whole set and there is a small chance it would look decent when it should have been done correctly the first time. Less than 24 hrs my nail tech at Perfect Polish redid the entire set. We had to go back to my original short nails then added an extension (3rd picture). I wasted $60 at red nail and spent an additional 2 hrs to get them completely redone.
I partially think my nails where done bad b/c of earlier when my friend wanted to do dip nails and our technician said no dip. We decided to go somewhere else, when we where going to leave, she said they can do dip. So I waited and my friend got her nails done. Right when she was doing the color tips it was my turn with another tech. The 1st tech could have done my nails at the same time but instead helped someone else. My friends nails looked great. I wouldn’t recommend coming here if its...
Read moreI am quite disappointed. I will say they did start right at my appointment time, but that is probably the best part of the experience.
QUALITY: I am not sure if it’s because I didn’t choose a “better” pedicure but I feel it was rushed. I may be wrong but I’ve always gotten callus removals and usually the “basics” of a pedicure and I left with my feet still feeling “ugly.” This was the most disappointing to me as I shouldn’t have spent any money on a pedicure at all and then to only get the “basic” and felt I was treated differently really got to me.
PROFESSIONALISM: The lady who did mine was nice and quiet but I was asked to turn my massage chair off assuming my feet were shaking while painting but before I could react she reached up and turned it off. Before I left she asked me to not wear my sneakers and to wear the sandals they provide because it might mess up my nail polish but I asked if I could dry them a little longer than the 2-3 minutes I was drying for.
I’m really sad I paid $28 + tip for this...
Read moreI gave this place a try because of all the good reviews so I’m surprised about mine. The technician that I had was in a big hurry. It was right away in the morning. She scraped intensely at my nails and when I tried to say I’m concerned about damaging them and thining them out she just kept at it instead of waiting for the acetone to do it’s work on the existing gel. Within 15 minutes of leaving - I figured out that several of my nails didn’t cure. When I put my mittens on they were sticky and smeared and you could scratch them off. When I went back to have it fixed she acted like it was my fault and they give me the same person. I knew this manicure was not gonna last because she was just as ferociously rushed the second time around. So, sure enough, five days in, the gel is lifting on almost all the nails. I specifically said I really want to make sure that these cure because I have to travel and I have a wedding - I will not be able to come back in...
