Now i was too typed to finally try OLG. The service is waaaay off. I was totally shocked at that. When we first walked in, we were seated. It took a few minutes for a waitress to cone over, which is kind of weird since it was not packed at all. When she did finally come over to our table, we ordered drinks first. Now usually a waitress will ask if we are ready to put in food orders, but this waitress did not. We ordered the Marguerita flights for $10. It took over 10 mins for us to get them. We had to keep asking about it. Meanwhile we were starving lol also waiting on the waitress to take our food order. We'll When we finally got our drinks, almost 15 mins later, they were not appeasing at all. But what kind of flight do you expect for $10 right? They also did not taste like regular Marguerita, but like a pound of sugar instead. The waitress finally took out order after waiting over 15 mins for that. I ordered the creamy shrimp & grits with a side of greens and sweet potato soufle. Ummmm the shrimp and grits were good. The sweet potato soufle was ok, it just had too much nutmeg. The greens were not cooked well enough and definitely needed more seasoning. I have heard that the other location is better. So next time I'm in ATL, I will...
Read moreI visited Red Lobster restaurant for lunch. This was the first time I had ever been there. I was greeted quickly and seated promptly. Surprisingly, my seat was not sagging like I thought it would be. My server, Laqueda, greeted me asking if I wanted my drink and she was going to bring me some bread. I looked through the menu several times, because everything looked good. She came back and I asked her about the flounder. She explained how it was prepared and there were other fish I could choose from. She explained about the food that I wasn't aware of, because I didn't see it on the menu. The sweet ice tea was cold and the lemon she brought made me tap my toes. My lobster dinner had a steamed and grilled lobster tail with shrimp and lobster alfredo, which came with two sides. I chose a salad and a baked potato, which both were nicely proportioned. Since I had eaten the tasty hot biscuits and my salad I filled up fast. My lunch was so good and the experience lifted my day. It was so good I had another server call the manager to my table for me to let her know how I enjoyed Laqueda's service and my lunch. I'm...
Read moreI ate at OLG today in Camp Creek Marketplace. They no longer have catfish tenders so I ordered salmon bites. The salmon bites were fried and dry. I had to ask my waitress for silverware, I believe she was in the weeds. She offered for me to order a different appetizer so I ordered fried green tomatoes which were awesome. When I received my bill it had the salmon bites, so I told the waitress. She said once I order something I can't be refunded I can only switch the order. So now I'm thinking what if the fried green tomatoes were less expensive on the menu. Also, they automatically insert 18% gratuity. I brought these concerns to the manager because I did not want to tip 18% especially after I had to ask for silverware and had to wait several minutes. Then to be told the original appetizer had to stay on the menu. I like to tip the amount I choose to tip not an automatic gratuity. The service was not worth that much of a tip. Also they need to reconsider bringing back the catfish tenders, they were everything and were on the menu about 2...
