This has to be the worst nail salon I've been to yet! To make matters worse,I gave them 3 separate chances,3different days,3different people. The positive, no wait. There is enough staff at all times to accommodate each person. Negative:everything else. I try to maintain a positive attitude at all times. I went in for a pedicure and discovered there were two different types of services for the low fee of $26..excellent! Although the technician was very sweet, she scrubbed my skin to almost nothing. The sole of my feet burned for two days! I went back, about a week later for eyebrow service, as always my request is to keep brows 'full'. I felt like something went awry, bc towards the end,she proceeded to fill in my brow w/a pencil (not needed when they are full).they weren't the worst brows ever, though content paid cheaper for better. My sister got her nails done and they were very nice! Another chance I thought! Wrong. I went in about 45 minutes before closing and a guy name 'Danny'came to me. He was so rude!! He snatched my hands, and kept trying to upsale me to get gel tips.(mind u I just wanted CLEAR acrylic for work) when I declined, matters got worse! He burned my fingers with the electric buffer twice!I had to roughly snatch my hand away In agony! He barely apologized, just kept saying it was the way my hand was positioned! I asked for smooth thin acrylic for a more natural look..declined! At this point I'm in tears I'm so heated. To this day I'm not sure why I didnt ask for someone else the first time,I was just trying not go off and embarrass my family. In the end he shoved the receipt in my face and pressured me to sign the slip and possible tip..I declined!I was able to get the owners name and plan to file a complaint. Complaining is something I don't like to do at all, but I've never been treated this poorly as a paying customer...Plus u pay $2,$3 more than the average salon..not worth my hard...
Read moreMy fiancee and I went to get pedicures today (Aug 14th) around 5:15 pm. Things were "ok".
The place was nearly empty since it was close to closing time.
The woman who serviced me spoke too low and I didn't understand what she was saying. To make it worse, both my fiancee's pedicure and mine were rushed and before she could finish my pedicure, another woman came over and told my fiancee to get up because she needed the chair. Mind you, his feet were barely wipe off and there were over 13 vacant chairs in the entire place to choose from.
My fiancee gets up and goes to sit upfront in the waiting area and I'm still sitting there visibly upset. When I asked the woman attending to me why they made him leave she said it was another lady's station and she had a customer. So I asked her to get the manager. The man who is usually at the front comes over and starts speaking their language. So I tell them to speak English. He tells me something in which I do not understand then all they say is "Sorry". "Sorry" is all they offered me for ruining our afternoon date experience.
Not only that neither of our services felt complete. They were steadily trying to upsell us on things from brow services to manicures, even after we kept telling them that a pedicure was all we want.
This was my third visit. I only came this particular afternoon because the nail tech "Brian" recommended me to come back today with my fiancee. For the record, the two ladies I am referring to are located directly beside Brian's nail station on his right. I came expecting decent service and being a repeat customer whom Brian recognized I expected far better than what we received.
I will never return to this place due to their sheer lack of professionalism and care of...
Read moreI had a very sloppy experience here this morning. I was one of the first people into the shop at 10am. The lady doing my feet did not properly apply the plastic liner to the pedicure tub so it slipped down immediately… highly unsanitary especially considering how many people use those tubs per day. The actual pedicure was nice though my toes look good. I couldn’t enjoy my experience thinking about all the germs, bacteria, and fungus seeping into my pedicure water though…
My manicure and full set look nice. Shaped well. But at the end of the manicure, she applied some random oil in a jar with a brush DIRECTLY to my hands…. Then placed the brush back into the jar. Idk maybe I’m a germaphobe but the random jar of oil and brush touching every customers hands then being placed directly back into the jar screams unsanitary. She could have used oil in a bottle with a nozzle how they normally do.
Let’s get into the eyebrows… I am missing half of them. I have pretty thick brows and I clearly asked for her to clean them up. I know it’s a gamble letting a random lady at the nail salon wax your brows but I always get a good wax from cleopatra. I’m not lying when I say the second half (the tail) of my eyebrow is almost invisible. Then she tried to fill it in with some random eyebrow pencil before I got to the register… highly UNSANITARY. I politely declined. Highly disappointed. They didn’t charge me for the eyebrow service but still, I would rather have my full eyebrow density.
Update they ripped the skin off my eye, left two scars, my eye is swollen and she offered me a $30 gift card…...
