This short-haired girl with an attitude gave away one of our orders to someone else. I know because the other girl who was handing out orders before her called out his number. but he was on his way back to the store when they called it (I couldn't claim it myself as I didn't have his receipt). How she gave it to someone else, WHO KNOWS
So my partner comes up to her asking about his order. She says 'Oh they're making it, just wait'. Even though other order #s after his have already been given out.
It's been over 15 mins so I come over asking what was the holdup. My partner have already asked her 2 more times and she just told him to wait. I told her 'But this number has been called already. And he ordered before me."
And she rolled her eyes saying "I don't know! It's out of my hands" And kept blaming the other workers whenever someone else asks about their lost/super late order saying "Oh they're all new so it's a mess right now" -- wow way to blame your coworkers when YOU'RE the one who gives away the orders to the wrong people.
We had to give our receipt to a staff behind the counter instead, they LITERALLY HAD TO REMAKE IT! Like bro. And this same girl in the front keeps denying that SHE'S THE ONE THAT MESSED UP.
The girl before her did a way better job handing out drinks, and didn't have a nasty attitude.
This one kept rolling her eyes and shaking her head whenever someone asks about their order that she most likely gave away to the wrong person too lol.
This is by far the messiest opening of HeyTea ever, NYC branches handle their crowds better. To be fair, the other staff were so sweet. The only complaint I have is the wait time. I know HEYTEA is really popular and this mall is SUPER crowded but I wished there was a better system for the workers and customer. On the app it said 30min so that’s why I ordered ahead but in the end I waited an hr for my drink. I wished they either capped the mobile orders or did something to help the wait time because there were other annoyed customers that were complaining and the workers seemed really stressed too. As I waited I kept seeing more orders come in 😭

The triple Matcha latte that they made me had huge chunks (thick mochi consistency, and no it wasn’t the jelly) and the bottom half of the drink was hot and the top half had ice. No foam. It was so disgusting. They just slapped it together. Not hey tea standards or quality at all. I don’t care if you’re busy… a paying customer should not receive something like that.
