King Kong Express — Restaurant in East Rutherford

Came by for some food for my wife and I and we were really looking forward to it. When I walked up to the counter, there were 2 employees, 1 male and 1 female who were so into joking and playing with each other, that they were sure not to stop when a customer walked up. I just looked at them while they were clearly prioritizing the games with each other that they did not acknowledge me, look at me, greet me, or even say anything at all to me. Then, the male walked away, and the female was there, still not acknowledging me, and then actually took her phone out and began to use it. She then acted like she was making a phone call, and completely walked away from me, leaving me at the counter by myself and unattended. The name eventually came back and then tried to take my order, but I could not believe the level of unprofessionalism and lack of customer service, that I just told him, it looks like you guys are busy and I just walked away. I will never give this business my money, and I will make sure non of my family or friends ever support them either. King Kong Express - you should really do a better job hiring individuals who actually like helping customers out, and have at least a little respect, courtesy, and...

We were hungry when we arrived at the American Dream Mall so we promptly made our way up the Coca Cola Eats food court on the 3rd floor in Court C of the vast Mall. There were plenty of different food cuisines available in the very quiet food hall and after a look at all the options available I decided to go for some Chinese food from the King Kong Ecpress stall. I opted for their 2 entree and 1 side Combo A deal for $12.99 and had the General Tso chicken, chicken with brocoli and fried noodles. The food was very tasty and very good value. The total bill for the food & a bottle of water came to a very reasonable $16.83 including taxes. In the USA prices are quoted before sales taxes, which is 6.65% in this mall in New Jersey and alot higher in NYC!😤 My wife fancied the food from The Geman Doner Kebab stall, but she didn't realise it was located in Block A, which is a long distance away and came back without being able...

Went here today for the first time good looked good- got the two entree one side, then wanted an extra entree in the side. The person working behind the counter seemed annoyed I even wanted to purchase an extra side- and then proceeded to mix the third entree into all of the other food - instead of on the side- when I asked for my pate to be re made- he just started scraping the mixed entrees back into the services dishes to re-sell- even though it was all slopped together, and then even after all that no new plate was made- they just gave up the same plate with some of the entrees scraped out and put into side dishes- if I hadn’t already paid in cash I would have just left.

Awful customer service- beyond rude and not to mention gross that they scraped in back into the containers to give to other people after it had already been mixed with rice and othe dishes. Yuck!

Will not be back- please work on...
