I really love this place besides that it's right next door to me I love the stores that are inside. First of all they have my favorite restaurant in Minneapolis Metro which is The Good Earth. I really love their chicken Thai wraps. They also have an array of cookies . I'm not a real Cookie Monster type of person but I love their ginger cookies . I don't like the icing on top of the cookies and when I asked them if they ever made them without that white sugary icing, they said no not unless you place a huge order . I do occasionally get those and scrape the icing off with a spoon . The cookies are plenty sweet on their own but they are really good because the ginger is hot and spicy . The mall itself is two stories so plenty of places to walk around and browse shops especially during the winter time when it's icy cold outside. They do have a new Starbucks on the main level but to be honest I was there the other night and it took them a half an hour to get me a decaf pour over. In all fairness, I believe the person working there was new. That was okay there are plenty of shops to browse while I was waiting but it was closing time 9 p.m. on a Friday so there weren't many open. Another restaurant they have is called People's Organic. I happen to love their spinach cheese scones. It's a sit-down restaurant with a deli and in addition you can sit outside on a patio. Crave Restaurant and Pittsburgh Blue. I'll post about that later. As long as I'm so close to think I could post some pictures right?. There are some retail stores in there like Crate & Barrel and some other clothing stores glass I glasses store a jewelry store in a salon . The shopping is a little pricey in here but I do like the fact that you can order out from The Good Earth or People's Organic which is really why go there . They are opening up a new restaurant and it looks like it's going to be huge . Please stay tuned.UPDATE I stopped in the other day to find a brand new STARBUCKS on the first floor. Its huge with plenty places to lounge. Its kind of a cafeteria style not like the usual dark and cozy atmosphere. The restaurant is making progress too and it looks fancy has a huge fireplace.I stopped at Piccadilly which is a gift shop +sale on xmas cards. Lots of...
Read moreA High-End Shopping center right next to a more affordable Southdale Mall. I didn't buy anything here because everything was out of my budget. I just came here and window shopped. They have many brands I never heard of...Only store I recognized was The North Face, which I didn't buy anything cause it's at MSRP. Pretty much nothing was on sale. I shop a lot, but I always ensure I'm getting the best deal before purchasing! I'd rather buy stuff at the outlet or online. Oh yea, I also recognized Barnes & Nobles.
There was a bunch of stores like Allen Edmonds, Hammer Made, Pendleton, and Melly that I've never heard of. Looked too expensive to enter anyways for me.
Overall nice place, very clean. Nice restrooms. Nice place to wander if you don't plan on shopping. Not a great option if you don't have too much money and...
Read moreI like this mall! It is not that large and is easy to move around in. They have a Barnes and Noble bookstore, Z- gallerie, clothing stores, Williams-Sonoma, Allen Edwards ,The Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel and a lot of other nice upscale places. There is no large department store located in this mall. The Galleria Edina has several restaurants! Highlighted by, The Cove,The Good Earth and The Pittsburgh Blue Steakhouse. It is also adjacent to a very nice hotel called the " the Westin". If you need help getting around or to find a store you are looking for, they have a small customer service desk, and they will help you! There are places to sit around the mall. It is a very cozy and laid back place. The mall staff is very helpful and courteous! It is located one block south of the Southdale mall...
