If you read the reviews closely, you will see that Interior Define has gone through a lot from Spring 2022 - Spring 2023! For anyone considering a purchase today (Spring 2023) or in the future, it's important to know that you are in good hands and, if your experience is like ours (and I bet it would be), you will get great furniture, at a great price, from great and helpful people. We were in the unfortunate group of folks who bought furniture from I/D in Summer 2022. At this time, the company was run by a totally different management team, and in a different corporate structure, from the folks at Havenly who are running things today. Unfortunately, the management team of the “old” I/D was very poor. They completely mismanaged the business and ran it into the ground. And to compound all of that, they were horrible communicators. Being a customer waiting for an I/D order in Summer 2022 was, bar none, the worst experience I have ever had with a business. The reviews you see here and elsewhere on the web are all from this time, and were more than justified.

At the end of 2022, I/D was bought by Havenly. Our order, which was supposed to have been delivered in November ’22 but in reality had largely not even been started (even though we were told otherwise), was now legally invalid. But from this point onwards, the Havenly team and the new management of I/D has been fantastic. Even though they had no legal obligation to do so, they found the portions of our order that were done but undelivered, and sent them our way as soon as they could. They also placed a new order for us, at no cost, for the portions of our order that had never even been started. As of a few days ago, we got those deliveries ahead of schedule.

Everything we received looks fantastic, was custom to our home, and is available for a much better price than what we could find elsewhere. And the service and thoughtfulness the current I/D team has provided throughout the time of their stewardship has been A+.

As newcomers to the beautiful product line and design services of Interior Define, it has been a pleasure to have a range of choices customized to our needs and taste. In the able hands of a responsive and communicative team at Interior Define, we have enjoyed a positive customer experience throughout the custom order design and delivery process. While it may take 10+ weeks before custom orders are ready for delivery, it is worth the wait knowing it is quality design and craftsmanship that is headed our way from an ethical and customer-oriented company that treats its clients fairly with great care and responsiveness. Having miscalculated the dimensions of the limited entry space into the room of our home where a custom sofa was to be delivered and set up, Interior Define -- navigated by Zoe Finkelstein, Design Expert and a very responsive Customer Experience department -- sorted through our options with us to redirect our order to another product at a fair exchange that honored the terms of what we found to be a very equitable return policy. It is refreshing to encounter an enterprise that places its customers at the heart of its focus and commitment while delivering thoughtfully crafted design and artistry to us everywhere.
