Hey there, gamers and geeks! Wade Wilson, a.k.a. the one and only Merc with a Mouth, here to give you the lowdown on Complete in Box, where the only thing bigger than the game selection is my ego.
First things first, the place has got to have an awesome name if it's called "Complete in Box," right? I mean, who doesn't want their box to be complete? But enough about my obsession with boxes – let's talk about the actual store itself.
Walking in, you better be prepared for an assault on your senses. I'm talking retro game covers competing for your attention, the sweet aroma of nostalgia in the air, and a soundtrack that feels like it was hand-picked by a DJ who moonlights as a dungeon master. It's like stepping into a time machine packed with pixels and power-ups.
Now, the game selection – it's like a treasure trove of digital delightfulness. I'm talking classic cartridges glimmering under the fluorescent lights, rare gems that collectors would trade their mother for, and a library that could make a digital deity weep tears of joy. Whether you're a NES nut, a Sega savant, or a PlayStation prodigy, there's something for everyone here.
And the staff? Let's just say they're as friendly as Cable on a good day. They know their stuff, they're willing to chat about obscure Easter eggs and forgotten franchises, and they might just have a few witty comebacks up their sleeves to rival my own. Plus, they'll help you track down that elusive title you've been dying to get your hands on, even if it means digging through crates like a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent on a mission.
But wait, there's more! Complete in Box isn't just about games – they've got a smorgasbord of geeky goodies to make any fan drool. From Funko Pops to vintage posters, from manga to D&D dice, it's like they've raided every nerd's dream closet and put it on display for all to see.
Now, no place is perfect, and even a place as cool as this has its quirks. The prices here can be a bit like dealing with Juggernaut – once they're set, there's no stopping them. But hey, quality comes at a price, right? And with a selection this good, sometimes you just gotta pony up the big bucks for that Mega Man mint condition.
In conclusion, if you're a gamer, a collector, or just a fan of all things nerdy, Complete in Box is like finding the Infinity Gauntlet without the whole "snap the universe out of existence" thing. It's a haven for the pixelated and the passionate, and if you're anything like me, you'll feel right at home among the classics, the rarities, and the downright epicness that this place has to offer.
So, there you have it, folks! Wade Wilson's seal of approval – and if that's not enough to make you check out Complete in Box, then I might just have to swing by and personally persuade you. With maximum...
Read moreI live in Baltimore Maryland and down here there’s not too many gaming stores in the area besides GameStop, Best Buy, Walmart and Target. A couple weeks ago I decided to start expanding my searches for gaming stores so I googled gaming stores in Southern PA and I came across Complete in Box. I’m a big-time gamer of both the current gen consoles as well as the retro gaming consoles. I started to read the reviews and the testimonials about Complete in the Box and after what I read about the store and the pics I saw of it I decided that I had to take a trip up their on a Saturday to see if it truly lived up to the hype. I sent a buddy of mine the link to the stores webpage and he tagged along with me. It only took us an hour and 40 minutes to get there and when we got there and opened the door my mouth dropped open and right then and there I knew it was worth the trip. I could not believe the size of the store and its vast library of games for every gaming console going back to my youth in the 80’s. You name the gaming console and they have it AND they also have a good amount of games for each console. The day we went up they were having a Super Smash Bros tournament going on with about 80 people participating in it. Even with that going on the staff still came up to me numerous times asking me if they could help me with anything. They were very friendly and courteous to us and made us feel very welcome there. To me they were one of the best staffs in a gaming store that I’ve ever encountered. I was particularly looking for an old school game that I could not find in my area where I lived and I didn’t see it on the shelf there. I believe his name was George (sorry not good with names) and he immediately went and checked elsewhere in the store to see if he had it and he most certainly did and I got it cheaper than any of the online prices for that game. The prices at Complete in Box are rock bottom, affordable prices that beats GameStops prices mostly on everything. At least it did on everyone of the games I checked. And I checked about 20-30 game prices. If you live two hours away from Ephrata, PA and you are a big time gamer or just a gamer, you must take the time and go to Complete in Box. You will not be disappointed and YES it does live up to all the hype you are reading about and...
Read moreLocated In a very easy to get to location in Ephrata off of 322 coming from Lancaster areas and 272 from reading areas, right outside of a few major shopping lineups with Big Lots, Staples etc. you will find this store across the street tucked between a few other businesses like a nail salon and Gage, Location really matters for a store and having being near places people tend to go to a lot gives it a good look around for plenty of customers to stop by, and they do.
Not only does this place stand out where its at, it's one of the only places to go to for Video Games, Comics and Anime, a Place to Chill and play some Arcade Systems or have fun Tournaments in Ephrata.
The business is ran by Spenser and his brother Trevor, so it is family run, along with other friendly staff. So it differs from there major rival Game Stop who runs Corporate and Complete is always cheaper. I personally feel that family business's pose a more friendly and able connectivity between there consumers. The staff are very capable to answer any questions and help any sort of person find what there looking for whether they be a Casual Gamer, or a Parent looking for a gift for there child.
Not only does Complete in Box offer a fair size of Video Game merchandise, they also offer plenty of Anime's and Consoles.
Complete in Box stands out over rivaling stores by offering Customers a cozy place to try out some of the games that are being released and even op-in on Tournaments and Weekly Challenges which usually provide prizes of Store Credit giving customers an opportunity to save money, hang out and have a good time, or just test and tone there skills to see if they have what it takes.
I loved walking into the store the first time seeing Isles of games to choose from, and an amazing collection of rarities and gaming merchandise to gawk at and Arcade Systems to play, I would give this store a 5/5 rating based off of Cleanliness of the store, Staff to consumer interaction, Prices, and Gaming Intelligence. These people really know what they are doing and if your in the area I would definitely suggest stopping by and...
