Hidden gem of Estes. A retired postmaster built a stone cabin with one of the most commanding views of the Continental Divide and downtown. The cabin was gutted by fire but the shell remains with a walkway through it. If town is crowded and you need space sneak into the park through its Southern entrance which originates behind the local police station and follows the Black Canton Creek. The Northern entrance has a small parking area and access to the loop trail. The grade is not especially steep and in my opinion do-able for kids and adventurous pensioners. Schedule a minimum...
