This was truly a walk back in time. The Park Theatre was built in 1913 (finished in 1914). The oldest movie theater west of the Mississippi River. There's so much history here. Interesting how the tower was built, and why... Because the man was left at the altar and he built this beautiful tower (65 ft tall ), representing his lost love calling it the Tower of Love. And saying it was "Beautiful on the outside and hollow on the inside" like the woman that left him at the altar.

Very cool old single screen theater. Theater seemed mostly original. Sound quality was good, movie quality also good. Prices were average for what you’d pay a main stream theater. Drink + popcorn for 8 bucks. Main stream movies- we saw the new Dumbo, and it just came out. Cool old historical place. Wish she’d open it up for simple tours for a few bucks a pop. People would pay it just to walk in. We almost didn’t pay to go in because of the movie showing, but I’m glad we did.

My family and I watched the new Beauty and the Beast movie there. It was terrific! The theater still has a very historic feeling and nothing has been over modernized. The seats were not the most comfortable but thats how it was back in the day. It felt like what I would imagine watching a moving picture in the 1920s would be like. Even though the theatre is very historic, the screen and movie showing was very crisp and clear.

The employees here are kind but we had such a terrible experience overall. We drove 5 hours round trip on Saturday to see a concert I had been looking forward to for weeks. Upon arrival, we were told that the show had been cancelled two days prior. They never emailed, called, or tried to reach us in any way to let us know the show had been cancelled. To their credit, they did offer us a full refund or to reschedule our tickets, and offered us a chance to see another show performing that night free of charge.

However, what's most frustrating to me is that I don't have a lot of spare time or money to do things like this. I only had this Saturday off this week and it was completely wasted because they didn't communicate with us. If we had known the concert had been cancelled before making the drive, we would have had a really good chance to find another day/time to reschedule our trip. Unfortunately, we used up the gas money we'd set aside to make the trip, as well as the limited time we had off, and now there's no way we will be able to make it up again to see this performance. I literally cried on the drive home I was so disappointed.

Do yourself a favor before visiting this establishment. Call the day before and see if the show you're going to see is still happening because they may not tell you.

Again though, the employees were kind and the theater itself is clean and well kept up. That's mainly why I think they deserve two stars...

I'm not the kind of person who would give a horrible review to an old "historic" place. But customer service is non-welcoming. We are here in Estes Park for our honeymoon, we walked in to watch "Mary Poppins Return". We walked in cold from outside and our eyes haven't even adjusted yet, but this old fuck (most likely the owner) started harassing us and bullied us to buy tickets before taking another step in the hallway. He was circling us and he was so close that we had to double check our pockets to see if he pickpocket us. I'm sorry, but that's plain rude and a little scary. This place is NOT safe. I don't recommend coming here. If you do, I can assure you that you will have a horrible time. I came in hoping to enjoy this place, but I'm here typing this review. I am beyond upset. This is NOT how envisioned my honeymoon.

Fire that dumb asshole. I don't care. This place deserves to thrive without that old fuck. I should have read the other reviews before stepping in this shithole place. Fix your customer service or close down. You don't deserve any business from ANYONE. Don't bring your kids here or your loved...

I remember seeing the building when I first arrived to the town. I had never been to a single screen movie theater before. Once you enter the building it was like I stepped into a time machine. I really got to see what it was like to go on a date years ago before we made all these multi screen movie theaters. The staff was very friendly especially the guy that worked at the snack bar. The snack bar prices were actually a lot less than they are at standard movie theaters. I loved the previews where they showed some of the history of the building and how it became. The movie was a regular modern movie, I was shocked when it began the sound and picture quality was what you would expect from a modern movie theater, excellent. Anyone visiting Estes Park should not miss the opportunity to visit this theater, you never know how long places like this...
