Get whatever they tell you in-store in writing or prepare for a helluva time. Went here to get my phone, my sister's phone, and my brother-in-law's phone lines off verizon and added to fiancé's and her friend who were already on AT&T, so 5 lines total. We have AT&T internet and wanted the bundle discount, the multiple lines discount, as well as two discounted phones for switching. We were quoted in-store to have a bill of $226 for all 5 lines and the internet combined. Here we are, on the phone with customer service, paying over $300 for the last three months, incorrect discounts to phone lines, no discount to internet showing up, no care in the world to the three different AT&T people we have talked to so far today or the dozen others over the last three months. We're both engineers, we know how the math of a quote and bills work, we know when a company hides behind feigned incompetence of their call stations and uses it to overcharge people. They'll tell you what you want to hear in-store and when you walk out the door it's not their problem, you won't get support for billing afterwards, you will have to fight tooth and nail to pay the correct amount. We will be showing up again to get our bill straightened out because after 4 hours today alone on the phone with multiple AT&T support people we only got our overpaid refund back and not the bill fixed. If they can't fix our bill, we will be switching back to Verizon. Stay tuned. Update: Visited again in person to fix. The employee who helped us this time confirmed that the quote we were given the first time we were in store to set everything up was incorrect due to unstackable bundles, even though on the day of first visit we had confirmation from three separate emplyoees in store that the offers would in fact stack. They will not honor the first quote, and we are now working to get refunded and return the phones and switch to verizon. We will be returning again to get the offsite "loyalty" department on the phone with the in-store folks here, because per the employee we worked with today, AT&T doesn't allow anybody who can actually make changes to work in store. So, stay tuned again, because we will see if the offsite loyalty folks will stand behind anything their in store employee told us the first day...
Read moreI was in the store a week ago to upgrade my phone. The screen on my current phone was broken. The phone works you just can't see the screen. The gentleman that was helping me said he could fix the screen for 29.99. He suggested I do that because I wanted the iPhone 13 pro max and the 14 comes out in a couple of weeks. I chose to just go with the 13. He told me I had 30 days to return it if I didn't like it. Fast forward to a week later I call the store to ask about bringing the phone back because I just don't like the iPhone..I hate it, actually, LoL. I'm definitely an android person. I tell the guy who answered the phone the whole story and then asked if I could come in and have the screen repaired and then upgrade to a Samsung galaxy s22 ultra. I wanted to get the screen fixed so that my data could be transferred to the new phone. This guy was very short with me right away. He kept telling me that no one at that store would have told me that they could repair my phone. The gentleman who gave me that information a week ago was probably new and misunderstood the policy..This guy on the phone continued to speak to me as if everything I had said was a lie.I never raised my voice. I never said that I was angry. I never sounded angry. After he repeatedly try to insinuate that what I was told never happened, I asked him nicely why he was being so rude..I honestly didn't understand it because I wasn't mad. He said he didn't have time to argue with me and had other customers to take care of even though it was 9am. That poor guy was in a mood before I ever called and he just dumped it all out on me. As he continued to talk down to me, I asked him for his name. He responded with "Bob" and then slammed the phone down. I immediately called back. They ignored my call the first time. I called again and a lady answered the phone.I told her what had just happened and asked if I could speak to a manager. She said that she was the manager. She didn't have a friendly tone to her voice either. Was she the actual manager? Probably not, but she did give me the information I needed. Today is September 8, 2022....10am. Word to the wise..I would avoid this store today. Find another...
Read moreBrian and Tyler are shady people! Sold me an already opened Google Pixel 8 pro. The phone is bent and the screen does not have accurate touch response that a flagship should have. I noticed the discrepancies on this phone from the get go. I called AT&T and they said they open all phone boxes for quality checks. This phone had WiFi networks already saved in it. Very poor customer service at the store when confronted they could say nothing except it's a brand new phone. Then began whispering to one another when still in sight. Brian the manager said he'd exchange the phone for another one and then goes into the back for about 5 mins and comes back out and says he doesn't have any in stock. He calls a local store to get one, "very unprofessional talk" occured. He says give him 30 minutes to run there and get it and come back to exchange my phone which he said with an attitude he "would exchange it this one time but never again." Upon waiting one hour he still hadn't returned and couldn't be found. This is an extremely unprofessional manager. I had been extremely satisfied with my service from AT&T until now. I still think I'll be swapping over to...
