Corey, one of the managers at this location, creates one of the worst customer experiences imaginable. I have had two interactions and that was all it took for me to never shop here again. I came the first time trying to figure out the best way to upgrade my modem. I informed him I had a combo unit that was kinda old. I asked him if I could use it as a modem to my tplink router I purchased. he was very argumentative and I'd say even a little aggressive through his tone. he talked down to me through this whole process like I was an idiot or something. he told me I couldn't use what I had and that I had to buy another modem. "YOU CAN ONLY USE ONE SIGNAL YOU CANT USE BOTH". he was so rude about it that I went home to try it out of frustration. to my surprise using my old combo unit as a modem gave me a speed of 400 megs down which was twice what I pay for with spectrum. I'm so glad I didn't let him strong arm me into purchasing a $150 router.
our next experience we were trying to purchase a lazy boy Alton for the sticker price of $280 for my bday. he informed me there were none in the back so I asked if could order. he tried and then told me the Alton's on the website weren't the same as the ones in store. he told me I could buy the floor model for the grab and go price. I informed him I had no issue assembling the chair and asked if he could honor the in box price due to the inventory issue. he swears up and down into not possible. I asked if there was any way he can meet me in the middle and he told me there was nothing he could do to ammend this. I almost left discouraged until I realized he hasn't checked with any other stores. I asked him if another store had one and he proceeds to check, tells me to hold on and runs to the office for 30 minutes to help a customer who just called on the phone. he comes back and informs me they did have it in stock so I was able to basically fix my own issue by doing this guys job for him. I asked MULTIPLE times if there were any other options. he was rude and disrespectful to my partner while I was looking at chairs as well. she wanted to leave to avoid dealing with him and I should have listened. I can't stress how rude and condescending he is when he speaks. this guys problem solving skills are basically nonexistent. he put such a bad taste in my mouth i won't even be using this location for amazon returns. I'll just hold my packages til Saturday and go to ups. 0/10 Corey. you make...
Read moreI have been a loyal customer of Staples for many years for business and personal use. I recently moved here from TX & today I received the worst service I have ever experienced. I wasn't greeted upon walking in like I heard everyone after me was. Nobody was easily accessible for help. When I finally did see someone wandering the floor they were in their own world. I was waiting so long for help that I just put the products in question back. I was tempted to go to copy & print services until I saw the one poor employee doing all the work looking as if she was distressed with an area full of people waiting before me but she was doing well despite the lack of help from her employees. I did however get 2 other items. When I got to the long checkout line, the cashier had to page twice for available cashiers. One cashier arrived and half the line randomly went to her but it was still long in both. Another cashier arrived and as I began to approach his line, he said to me "No I'm going to take them" in a very rude tone even though they did not move originally to go to any of the 2 lines that opened. I used Staples exclusively but since this is the only store in the city, I will be taking my business elsewhere to a different company and invest my money where I can be respected as well as informing people I...
Read moreFirst off, let me say I had the best experience you could ever have at Staples or any store or any business. I worked with a supervisor named Joe and clearly he should’ve been a manager because his customer service skills exceeded anything I’ve had ever experienced, or would have ever imagined. Joe was the epitome of great customer service. He took the time to help me and he had patience for my needs. Actually, he had more patience than I would’ve displayed at a job. He was nice, soft-spoken, and very helpful. I was confused and very needy when I walked in the store; however, I left out completely satisfied and happy. Joe exceeded my expectations with his good customer service, his patience and his manners. He was very professional. He helped me from start to finish and he did some hard work, yet he made it look so easy. Thanks JOE!!! For all your help and getting me the perfect results. My son will enjoy the time taken for his tournament posters as well as the effort and ending result. Thanks for making my his 16th birthday Extravaganza POP!
