I wanted to find a inexpensive massage place that I can go weekly, tried here for the 1st time today. Got a massage from Owen (?), quality was above average, but he cleared his throat on and off which’s a little annoying. This place used to call “LH Foot Massage” and the business has renamed “Essential Massage”. It can be noisy at times. Employees chit chat, and some people(including customers) have no common sense. They should put up a big sign says: “NO TALKING on cell phone in massage area, SILENCE your cell phone!”

Had a great head to toe massage. My masseuse che ked in from time to time to check if the pressure and hwat were ok. Inexpensive and just what I needed to relieve some tension from the daily stress of chasing around my toddler. Can't wait to come back.

I have had a "head to toe foot massage" probably 30 times at this location. The price used to be $30, but I believe recently, the price has increased to $40 which is still a GREAT deal. The main reason for my review today is a recommendation on tipping. If you enjoy your massage, you should tip AT LEAST $15. I always tip $20, but twice, I tipped $25 for the best massages ever! If you tip 20%, you are massively undertipping. I do not think the employees make an hourly wage, and they only work off of tips and maybe a percent of the massage being purchased. There is a tipping recommendation right on the counter. Read it and tip accordingly. Your masseuse should make $30 to $40 per hour. The salon obviously collects a portion of the money. So my advice is to do your masseuse a solid and throw them a $20. A massage is definitely worth $60 for a full hour. I see several reviews where people complain about tipping and how rude that your masseuse expects you to tip. Of course, they expect you to tip! It's how they make their money. Where can you go to get a $40 massage? Don't be stingy! Tip the masseuse and...

The massage I received this week was very rough and painful. I asked for something specific and didn’t know if this was standard so did my best to get through it. I am very sore and tender. I also didn’t get the pricing others are raving about. It was $30 for a half hour not one hour so appears to depend on who you are or what you will accept. Not good business.

Circling back over a week later.... I was in a great deal of pain this last week as a result of the massage. I have significant hip pain still and will likely have to go to the doctor if it doesn't subside soon. Never again. I went for a shoulder massage and my hip is painful from what was done to me. Yikes!

Three weeks later I still have hip pain. I also noticed they have changed the name of the business and you would only know by the address. It is in the HMART plaza. The prior reviews are likely why the name was changed. I looked before and after I went for reviews but couldn't find the name and...

Been coming to this place for a while . But today i was feeling pain on my shoulders and came here to get a 60min massage . I don’t know her name but she wears a glass . In the beginning of the session she was walking on my leg and pressure was too intense that i couldn’t handle so i told her that was too much and she was laughing so hard , and she start doing it with her hands . But end up skipping my left shoulder and my left arm which was causing pain, so i told her i have pain on my shoulder and she start the massage the area really intense and start scratching my skin intentionally, and after that she brought some HOT STONES and she put it right on my back without cooling it down it was so hot that I couldn’t tolerate it , had to jump of the bed and i got redness on my skin from the burn. AND IT WILL BE MY LAST TIME COMING TO...
