Very nice, clean and tidy store. The checkout person, Val was friendly. But I should have learned from previous visits at other Kohls, to ALWAYS take a picture of the item on the rack I pull it from, and the listed price, so when I get to the checkout I can say that “those sweatpants were listed at 30% off, here’s the price on the rack and here’s the picture of the items on that rack”.
The checkout process was rushed. The single towel I purchased for 5.99, was listed 5 TIMES, and she needed to remove the extra charges. Then one item I purchased was missing from the sale, so I was able to tell her which one and what the cost was. People were lining up behind me.
After completed, I realized I didn’t receive the 30% of my UnderArmor athletic pants, but didn’t want to hold back the other shoppers behind me.
FOR ME, this seems to be the typical experience at Kohls. I would urge others shoppers to ALWAYS check how their purchases are scanning, and bring photo proof of how they were priced on the floor.
I would even go so far to bring your potential purchases to the register and ask the clerk to scan them, one by one, so you can verify your expected price, as MANY TIMES I’ve gotten the response from the clerk at the register that “oh, it was in the wrong rack, and it’s not on sale”. In my case, for this visit, the item was truly on sale, but I did not want the hassle of holding up a growing line of...
Read moreI like this location. Employees are mostly friendly and helpful and making a return(s) is always easy. They usually have a large selection of clearance clothing at good prices. Sadly though, with COVID 19 the fitting rooms are closed so you have to buy everything then return the items that don't fit or you don't like. My daughter and I combined spent $400 on clothes and returned half of it. But the return process is easy if there is no line. They also take Amazon returns at this store and you get a 25% off coupon that is good for 1 week. Store is kept pretty clean but clothing department areas can get messy if a crowd was just in. They do have plenty of free parking and restrooms. They also have handicapped parking and the are handicapped accessible. Store has moved closing to 8:00 p.m. due to the virus which makes no sense to me. They say that anything that is returned is quarantined for 3 days before placing back on the floor which also makes no sense to me. I asked the guy in customer service if doing this has actually helped at all and he said he didn't know but...
Read moreFirst time here. Just moved to Flagstaff. Glad they’ve got a Kohls in the area, bc Amazon returns are so quick & easy! Free to drop off the item. You don’t have to package or label anything. Then when you’re done, they print a confirmation code & coupon attached. Whomever’s idea that was, genius. Cuz I’ll admit, I almost always end up looking around & buying something that’s a great sales price, as well as using the coupon. Today, I got a pair of Levi’s for $40! Nice! New Levi’s can easily be $70-100 in most cases. Levi’s is my fav clothing brand, and usually I have to buy them online. But Kohls has entire sections devoted to the brand, in each dept: mens, womens, kids. Great selection, discounts galore; and if you sign up for the free rewards program, the “kohls cash” adds up very quickly. Top name brand quality items, as I’m very picky about fabrics & designs — this is where I can always find something I really like! I don’t shop in-person often these days — except I find it easy & satisfying & fun when I’m...
