Horrible. I want to give 5 stars, I've been banking at this branch for 10 years, but my last experience was just that bad. I love and appreciate many tellers here, but.... I am buying a home, I don't have a lot, but I have just enough. I went into the branch to do my wire transfer for my down payment, the last step on my part. I have to do this transfer TODAY, these things are extremely time sensitive. I walk in, scan their code to get in line for a banker, as I'm waiting a banker comes out to inform me and two other gentleman waiting that they essentially do not have time to see us and that we should make an appointment online. I tell him I'm there to do a time sensitive wire transfer for my house purchase, and he essentially tells me to make an appointment or do it online. I felt he was annoyed by us customers waiting and needing help. When I called my Title broker she was shocked and told me that she has never heard of anyone getting that treatment at any bank before, that wire transfers are standard requests and take little time, meaning they always have time. I ended up going to my online banking app to do the wire transfer, but I'm not a banker, I am just hoping I entered everything correctly in the right spot because this is literally my life's savings and the page for the online wire transfer states that if info is not correct you can lose your money.. but having no choice I hyperventilated in my car and tried my best. I find out tomorrow if the transfer was successful. Please try harder for your long standing customers. I've been a wells Fargo customer for 20 years, and this one experience at this branch is making me think I'll move...
Read moreMade an appointment five times to have a key executive on a business account changed, and it was canceled three of those times because the only banker who could complete the change was out sick. When I scheduled the third appointment, I asked Anthony who I was speaking with to make sure that there was another backup banker available in the event that they had to cancel the appointment again. He said, "Oh yeah. Sure. We can do that." and when they called to cancel the third appointment, I asked about the backup banker, and they said there was none. Anthony lied. When I spoke to the branch manager, I expressed my frustration because I had to coordinate the schedule of two other individuals who had to be present for the change, and she assured me that they would find a way to do this without us having to come in (have the documents sent / signed via FedEX or send a notary to our business to have it done there). She didn't find an alternate way and never followed through. For the fourth scheduled meeting, I couldn't be present for it but Eliza assured me that I need not be, and we verified what was needed for the transaction to be completed. When my colleagues showed up for the appointment, they were informed that they did not have everything that was needed (they needed my signature on a document when I was assured by Eliza that that was not needed) and that they needed to reschedule... again! The transaction was finally completed on the fifth scheduled...
Read moreMy bank did not have a notary available and told me this bank had one. I felt strange going to this bank after being referred by another bank. However the staff was super friendly and very helpful. Often times when going to a bank I am greeted with a bit of racism from the staff when I walk in. They give you that pleasant, "I have to smile because I work here" look, while at the same time giving you the look that you don't belong. Wells Fargo was very different. Just friendly people willing to help. I thought the guy would try to say something to convince me to come over to their bank. When he didn't I told him I had been comparing banks and considering switching. He told me everything I needed to know about their bank without putting down the other bank. He said some people switch from us to them and some people switch from them to us. It's up to you, but let us know if we can be of any assistance. Your welcome here. I have been with what is called the number 1 bank of America for a long time and treated like number two. Yes they say all the right things, but you can tell they are just words; and they have their mistakes that are just as frustrating as anywhere else. However with Wells Fargo, when you come across great customer service, you never forget it. I think it's time to bank with a bank that may not be considered number one, but will treat me like I am...
