Crystal Creek Sandwich Co — Restaurant in Flagstaff

Food. Sandwiches are on the better side. Could use some more options like vinegar and olive oil. Bread is great.

Service has been fine. Ordered a sandwich before a really large order but somehow mine was way after they got theirs.

Atmosphere. Okay, that bathroom is disgusting. Like third world nasty. Base trim peeling off, nasty gaping hole in the Sheetrock next to the toilet, seat so loose it moved if you looked at it.

And then the overall lack on cleanliness and basic maintenance? Take some pride in ownership before the health department shuts it down.

Next, all the nasty graffiti carved into the paneled walls is not funny, cute, edgy or entertaining. It's gross. Sand it off and kick out the next guests that think it's acceptable.

Whole place needed a hard scrubbing.

So is the kitchen this bad? One has to wonder?

Supporting local is great, but until this place is cleaned, there's other sandwich...

I visited on Thursday late afternoon with my family, at the suggestion of another restaurant that closed at 3pm. The people were great, so 5 stars for service. The decor and tunes were good, the place was sort of dead (two other customers, but it was between lunch and dinner) so 4 stars for atmosphere. My wife had the prime rib au jus and I had a cold sub. We both liked the bread very much, which tasted freshly baked. Howevere, despite mine being loaded with meat, we weren't real impressed with the flavor, thus the 3 stars on food and overall. My one son, though, loved his turkey sub that had cream cheese on it, said it was one of the best he ever had, would have given 5 stars (but I'm keeping the rating based on my experience). Crystal Creek Sandwich Co is an absolute must-visit whenever we’re in Flagstaff. The sandwiches are so good that we often pick up extras to bring home and enjoy later. Their menu has something for everyone, but the Grand Rapids Sandwich is hands-down my favorite—it’s the perfect blend of flavors that always leaves me wanting more.

Beyond the fantastic food, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff goes out of their way to make sure you have a great experience.
