One of the highlights of visiting Historic Folsom is the vibrant Folsom Farmers Market. Held year-round, it’s more than just a market—it’s a celebration of community, fresh produce, and local artisans. You’ll find everything from farm-fresh fruits and vegetables to handcrafted goods and delicious baked treats. A must-visit vendor at the market is TerriLin and her husband, Michael. TerriLin’s energy and warmth are truly infectious, making every interaction a joy. She handcrafts her own soaps, each bar a testament to her creativity and passion. They’re perfect for treating yourself or as thoughtful gifts. TerriLin loves to share stories about her family, and you can’t help but be inspired by her pride in her son, who is a Team USA Swim Coach. Her enthusiasm is as genuine as her beautifully made products, and you’ll leave her booth not only with lovely soaps but also a smile on your face. The Folsom Farmers Market is a treasure of the community and a perfect way to start your Saturday morning. Stroll through, chat with the vendors, and soak up the friendly atmosphere that makes Historic Folsom so special.

I look forward to visiting this every Saturday. It's on throughout the year, rain or shine. Lots of great vendors. Here's some of my favorites: Frenchy gourmet: Love their kefir yoghurt!! All the flavours are great, but if it's your first time visiting, you must try their lemon flavor! Baklava and coffee: A good spot to grab some Turkish coffee and their other seasonal assortments. Rodriguez farms: Strawberries! Faria bakery: Their sourdough loaves are soo good! Fruit Frenzie truck: A great spot for grabbing a smoothie or bowl, personally I love their Shaka bowl and Mahalo mango. Don't remember the vendor's name but there is a vegetable vendor near the fruit truck who carries a good selection of Asian vegetables. I always make sure to get Okra, bottle gourd etc, from them. Lindcove ranch: Seasonal Citrus fruits and juices.

If you walk through Pioneer Village by the train installation on Wool St. You’ll run into: - “Boba & Bites” still standing strong as my top lunch/snack spot for Saturdays! - A new addition to the Market is a sweet family owned deserts cart “Strawberry Fabulous”, run by Lauren and her brother Kevin, and husband Jack. They thought of every detail! They’re the only booth with tables outside their location. - “Pink Elephant Curries” is another new addition.Their samples are so yummy and have the slightest kick to them. They’re all frozen and can be used overtime on many dishes. - Flowers are all over the market so it’s not hard to snag yourself a gorgeous fresh bouquet. “Lolo Sunshine” always stuns with vivacious arrangements, and they’re very reasonably priced!

The Folsom Farmers Market in Old Town is a hidden gem that perfectly captures the charm of our community. This compact but comprehensive market has quickly become my weekend ritual for stocking up on fresh, local produce.

What makes this market special is that despite its modest size, it manages to offer all the essentials plus unexpected treasures. From farm-fresh vegetables and fruits to artisanal breads, local honey, and handcrafted goods - there's something for everyone here.

The market creates the perfect opportunity to support local farmers and vendors while enjoying the historic ambiance of Old Town Folsom. The vendors are knowledgeable and passionate about their products, always willing to share recipes or growing tips.

Dog lovers rejoice - this market is extremely pet-friendly! My furry companion always receives plenty of attention and the occasional treat from friendly vendors.

One word of caution: parking can be a bit challenging, especially if you arrive during peak hours (typically mid-morning). I'd recommend arriving early or being prepared to walk a bit from one of the nearby public lots.

The Folsom Farmers Market perfectly embodies why I love living in Folsom - community-focused, authentic, and offering a wonderful blend of small-town feel with quality goods. It's become an essential part of my...
