♿ Wheelchair users, please be aware that although Google claims the entrance is accessible, it is NOT safe. The ramp is both too short and too steep, with a lip at the summit that halts your momentum and causes your chair to stop, if you're going up the ramp casters-first, or to tip backwards and risk cracking your head open if you're going down the ramp rear wheels first - I tried both ways and neither was successful. You WILL need a waiter or waitress or family member to push you up the current ramp. I tipped over backwards exiting the restaurant and was only saved from a concussion by the lovely waiter I had asked to assist me with the dodgy ramp, who caught my chair before it hit the ground.
Pizzeria Classico, it is an easy fix! You simply need a ramp that is about twice as long as the current one, and therefore less steep, as it covers the same height over a longer distance - and a ramp without that dangerous lip at the top.
Onto the food and the service! I ordered the half size antipasto salad and it was the perfect size for one person, and truly delicious - the most wonderful stuff, and the best proportions of everything! Nothing was skimped. Even the dressing was a great amount and I always feel that restaurants don't give enough dressing. The waiters and waitresses are friendly and lovely and attentive. The restaurant is clean and attractive. If I could safely enter the restaurant, I would...
Read moreI miss this place! Every pizza and garlic chips/bread is compared to this place! And let me tell you, no one even holds a candle. I grew up in Folsom. I loved going to Sutter Street. The shops and the candy and a delicious pizza. The garlic chips are still in my dreams. As a kid we would come here and devour 2 garlic chips rounds before we got a pizza. Fantastic memories. After my mom passed, I decided to move down south to try to make new memories since everywhere I went, I saw her which made me very sad. The pizza where I live absolutely sucks! I’ve been living down here for ten years now and I can still smell the garlic chips from here! I think I’m going to have to make the 6 hour drive just to taste this heavenly treat once more because, I can’t stop thinking about them! If you haven’t been here then you have to try it! It’s an experience you will never forget. This place is where you can make some wonderful memories with your kids that will stay with them...
Read moreOne waiter at this restaurant has a serious attitude problem. During December, our youth sports team decided to have a holiday dinner here. About four kids and four adults were seated at a table looking at the menu, a fifth adult in our party went to order a beverage. Unbeknownst to what transpired with the adult ordering a drink, an irate waiter comes up to our table and yells at both the kids and adults to “get out, leave, we aren’t welcome in the restaurant”. One little girl immediately stared to cry. We left right away. It was such a shocking experience to see a grown man think that was an appropriate way to handle a situation. We have dined at this establishment prior and have had this waiter before. There is definitely something off with him. Be better Pizzaria Classico, handle situations with respect and class, and never, ever yell at children that were well behaved and not privy to whatever else...
