Repeat Boutique — Attraction in Fort Collins

Anyone who says this is over priced is crazy! Everyone has been wonderful there and they have great stuff. I got Stewart Weitzman shoes for $8 and Tony Lama boots almost new for $15, and Ralph Lauren pants, this season, for $8. You need to look and spend time, but the purses, clothing, lamps, etc, are so well priced that I'm addicted ! I have yet to se anything bad there or worn out and the leather designer coat I bought my boyfriend was $20. I looked all these up online and found the shoes for $400, the pants for $120, and the boots used and worn out for $75. The coat was 250. So, saying it's junk and not good and over priced is rediculous! I'm going back to get a renesance couch I found for $175, hand crafted, you can tell and I have expensive tastes . The one I found online like it was from the U.K. For $4000. So don't listen to idiots that have no idea what they are buying. I'm a city girl, and this...

If you use a Credit/Debit card at Repeat Boutique, they will add a 3.5% fee (basically they are billing you the merchant fee they have to pay). The REAL problem is they do not tell you, nor do they give you a CC receipt - only a sales receipt. When I asked them, they lied saying it is your bank charging the fee. I called my bank and it is NOT a bank fee. My bank looked at the transaction and verified Repeat Boutique transmitted the uplifted amount (sales amount plus 3.5%). Had I known, I would opt to pay via check or cash. This practice on their part seriously hurts their integrity and shows what a poor business manager they have. I love everything about Repeat Boutique and have been coming here for many years, both consigning and buying things. Being in this charming old house is a magical experience, and I practically want to move in. The creative way that everything is displayed as you make your way around the house…well, it’s hard not to buy everything you see! This small, locally-owned business is doing more good than most businesses of any size, because of the reusing of so many things and because of the good feelings that are generated when going there ---- I’ve never experienced the same kinds of feelings at any mall store. We need more places like this...
