I have been a fan of prost since they had their old town fort collins location. Because of this I was really looking forward to the opening of the new prost at the corner of prospect and college. However I was sadly disappointed by what the end result was. I was hoping they would take some time to update the incredibly old building with some more modern touches. Things like the single pane drafty windows, the bad bathrooms, the very very cramped rooms. This did not happen. I had hoped that they would keep a similar seating style to their old location where they had nice long wooden tables shared communally and a few other sized tables on the periphery. This again did not happen. Instead you have an assortment of high tops, some held up by barrels which means you cannot sit comfortably at that table because the barrels take up all the leg room, the other high tops are wobbly and the seats are the standard uncomfortable no back stool. The outside seating is even worse. When I went the opening week the group sitting next to me had cut and scraped their legs on the tables as they had not been refinished properly. Personally, I got two splinters in my hands from the surface of the outdoor tables. The bathroom that I used was fairly dirty, the seat on the toilet would not raise up and the room itself was incredibly cold. Mostly because they refused to spend the money to replace the single pane windows. This refusal also means that if you are sitting near a window you're going to need a jacket because the windows are so drafty. Finally they have placed all of their games in the basement which means the basement becomes incredibly loud even with just a few people in it. Mostly they should move the giant connect four game somewhere else and place some wall decorations that also absorb sound. Sadly the new location is inferior in almost every way to the old location in old town fort collins. I would have given this location one star if the beer had changed. Luckily the beer and the staff remained just as good which is why I am...

Read moreThe beer is ok. More importantly, this establishment treats their music groups horribly! We came to enjoy a very talented Irish band and we ended up disappointed by the venue. When we first arrived we were assured by the ladies working the door that there was no live music.....this was absolutley incorrect. Then the staff did nothing to help move tables and make the stage ready for the band they did that themselves. As the band was moving tables off the stage a staff member asked my husband to tell the band to stop moving things as they would send someone....which they didnt. Finally, they never moved the cornhole games from in front of the stage allowing for incredibly rude individuals to continue to play the game at the foot of the stage while the band played!!!! I would NEVER recommend this venue to any of my musician...
