This one goes out to Miss Valeria.
So my wife and I ordered food on the Taco Bell app and went to go pick it up.
She ordered a large Baja blast freeze with her meal which requires a $1.20 cent upcharge. A large drink requires a .29 cent upcharge. This information will be important later on in the story.
We get there and as sure as the McDonalds ice cream machine is broken, the Baja blast freeze is also broken. (Which is especially annoying because Taco Bell managers have the ability to toggle items on and off for online customers based on availability)
But anyways, we are at the window, Miss Valeria tells us the Baja blast freeze is broken and asks if we want a different flavor.
I tell her no, we would like to switch it to a Mt Dew fountain drink.
She tells us no, we ordered a Freeze so we have to get a freeze. After a few minutes of back and forth and her poor attitude, she slams the window and comes back with a Small Mt dew.
I immediately tell her we are not taking a small Mountain Dew, we paid the up charge for a large Baja blast freeze.
She then proceeds to get a large Mountain Dew and rings it up at full price (2.99) and tries to tell us we need to pay more because we want an extra soda.
I then proceed to try and explain to her yet again:
The meal comes with a medium soda
We paid 1.20 for the large Baja blast freeze
The large soda upcharge is .29
Your Baja blast machine is broken yet you still have it available for purchase on the menu
So technically I should get a large soda and a $.91 refund and in no scenario should my drink be replaced with a small.
She told me i can have the soda but I wasn’t getting a refund then slammed the drive thru window in my face.
Miss Valeria needs to be retrained and needs a class in customer service. Her poor attitude and inability to listen to a customer without getting upset will cost you business...
Read moreI just came out of this taco bell (1/13 @ 11:00pm) as a dasher. I was waiting for my order for a while, but understood how they are busy as I have also worked in fast food. A couple came in and stood patiently waiting. The manager walked by multiple times along with many other staff members and didn't say a word. After they stood there for a while longer, the manager barely looked up and said " you can use the kiosk" and continued with what he was doing. The lady said " oh I was actually just in the drive through and...." she was very rudely cut off as the manager said " yeah I don't recognize you" and walked away. The couple seemed shocked as they should have been and waited more. The manager walked by again and said " yeah I don't recognize you have a good night" and waived in the rudest most sarcastic manner. I finally spoke up to one of the other workers and they showed him and the manager their receipt saying that they were just missing their Baja blast and the manager replied exactly the same even after seeing a receipt and the staff member shrugged and said " I'm not in charge" I understand that it's difficult working in such a stressful and fast paced environment and this is " just taco bell" but it's sad to see a manager treat customers the way that he did. My only hope for this review is either for this manager to see this and feel disappointed in the way he behaved and strive to do better or for someone above him to see this and make sure that they teach customer service to their managers / employees as they all very clearly need a refresher. Such a frustrating thing to witness over something as...
Read moreI waited at the counter for a couple of minutes and the gentleman making food tells the cashier (Lonae C) that someone is up front and needs to order. That’s when a 70 year old lady walks out from the office. She then proceeds to not acknowledge my existence and walks right by me to the drive thru. I start to say that I need to order and she turns away from me and proceeds to take 3 drive thru orders after I tell her that I need to order. After taking said orders, she just looks at me with a blank stare then asks me what I’m waiting for, like I’m inconveniencing her entire existence. I’m in disbelief at this point and reiterated that I’m waiting to order. She scoffs and rolls her eyes at me then finally manages to walk herself to the counter and take my 2 item order with the attitude of an entitled influencer with 100k subscribers. I honestly felt like she wanted me to apologize for inconveniencing her entire existence with my non-worthy presence. I felt like I was attempting to bring myself to the throne of God, knowing I wasn’t getting into heaven after a life of sin, after I left that counter and bothering Lonae with my mere mortal and inconsequential existence. I get it. It’s Taco Bell. I wouldn’t want to be damn near 70 and working there. But you signed up for that so do what you’re supposed to do. It sucks having to put on that customer service persona and spending 8 hours somewhere you do t necessarily want to be. But you signed up for that. If it’s that bad then maybe you should get on social security or disability or hell, maybe even both. But just do the job you...
