Galt Ocean Marketplace — Attraction in Fort Lauderdale

You guys...I can't even tell you what an amazingly yummy place this is! I wanted to pack up your staff and take them home with me because of how awesome they (and the food) were!! Everything was so fresh and you could taste the quality and care put into every dish. They have a large menu of breakfast items including a ham and swiss on a croissant that was so buttery and airy and flaky it felt like eating ham and swiss air with pastry bits floating around. Weird, I know, but seriously, it was to die for. I did make one mistake though! Totally not their fault...I ordered an iced red eye, which is an iced coffee with a shot of espresso in it. Now, normally, that would not be a problem. But this weekend happens to be a big air show in Fort Lauderdale. Guess who was driving away on unfamiliar roads with an incredibly amazing caffeine buzz and the windows down when an F-22 Raptor buzzes by at such incredibly high speeds and roaring that I screamed louder than I ever have in my life! It actually made me cry! So I'm trying to find our next stop, shaking from the caffeine buzz and close call of death by flyby, crying, and I managed to not crash, so I considered it a success! So, the only advice I have for your beautiful staff: if it's air show weekend, advise patrons to not mix airshow with espresso! 😵‍💫 Seriously though-best breakfast experience if our whole vacation! Winn Dixie at Galt Ocean Marketplace is a large store with nice wide aisles. I generally do my Winn Dixie shopping at the 6th and Federal Highway location.

My initial reaction prior to entering was wow these are the dirtiest rusty grocery carts I've ever seen. The ones at my regular Winn Dixie are either newer or kept cleaner.

Visited Salon Pizzaz, Ray is my man there, he is superb, great haircut on hair that is difficult, curly, with many cowlicks, and he makes it all work. He is also a magician with color. Uses a very good color from Italy, so gentle and the blonde does not turn color when I swim daily. The shop is friendly Steve the manager is a doll.
