Stayed here for 5 nights in June. Pretty good stay, with pros and cons listed below Pros Pool w pool area overlooking ocean Ocean location!! Partial ocean view- beautiful, little balcony Lots of amenities including nice size gift shop, restaurant, bar, bar by pool, gym, massage chairs, valet parking, concierge, jet skis to rent Cool ac Fridge, microwave Nice room- we were on 9th floor- I wonder if those rooms are better? Paid more for 2 Queen and “partial ocean view” Great beds and pillows Housekeeping- we are late starters and they cleaned our room later Friendly staff Walk to Dunkin Donuts, McDonald’s, Winn Dixie, DaVinci’s pizza (spinach roll was delicious!) Really close to many restaurants and shopping Pool pretty busy but not packed. Lots of families. No drunk people. Weather- really hot but barely any storms even though weather channel said daily storms! Close to airport- about 30 min, mostly due to city traffic Cons Nothing is free- parking $20 a day- required to valet park so also tips every time you take car Coffee- not free- $10 plus tip for 2 each day Towels- they keep track of pool towels by giving you a card. If you lose it, you’ll be charged $20 Beach chairs/umbrellas- not provided by hotel- they are for rent, extra for cushion, cabanas at pool for rent Mini golf- under construction- not as great as I was picturing and costs $12- I chose this hotel so my teenage son could do mini golf Escape room- closed Beach- no lifeguards- kept seeing news about rip currents, so I was worried to swim without a lifeguard there Suggestions: to offset the surprise of all the extra fees, give free tickets to mini golf when it opens for one game, and free coffee in lobby. Offer a ticket for one day of chair/umbrella rental. Maybe a little gift bag too with coupons and a magnet or something. Hotel info printed in room.

I recently stayed at this location. I stay for 4 nights in room 711 from the 19-23 of Jan 2023. I was very pleased with everything up until my last day. While away, there was a smell of bleach in the room, and I was like well at least I know it's clean." But as I walk over to my clothes, I find my pants and 2 shirts bleached. Not on purpose, but definitely with a spary bottle, but it ruins those 3 pieces of clothes, one being a Christmas gift from my wife. So I go downstairs to speak with a manager. I was able to speak with Hyman. I explained the issue and to him. The first thing he says is I'll have to come back in the morning and speak with another manager. I informed him I have a 6 am. flight at FLL Airport. I won't be able to come in the morning. He then says well let me see what I can do.""" So he came back with "I can't comp your parking, which was 80 dollars. 1 one my shirt alone is worth 80 dollars. I ask, is that all you can do? He replies yes. So I ask well what could have the manager who you originally told me to come back to see could do and he replies nothing different. So I say we'll why did you lie and pass me on to another Manager who's Caroline. I feel like the hotel can at least meet me halfway and give me back 50 percent of my stay. That night of the 22nd of Jan. 2023, manager Hyman misrepresented the company. And it has cast a bad light on their name. So obviously I'm upset and by the end of the stay I go back to the room where my clothes got bleached and find the reason they were spraying bleach in the first place is cause it was mold on the box spring. If it wasn't for my clothes and Hyman, my stay would've been perfect.

PLEASEEEE READDDD!!!! This location has only one good thing and that is that the beach is on the property. When arriving the night I got to the hotel and went to the room and the pillowcase had someone else’s hair on it. At 6AM YOU HAVE CONSTRUCTION ACROSS THE ROOM ON THE BUILDING NEXT TO THE HOTEL THAT ISN’T posted on the website when booking. The security by the pool was harassing me bc I had my backpack that had my clothes in and told me I couldn’t have a cooler when it was a backpack. She made me open it and saw that I only had my clothes. Security comes up to me again by the pool and tells me that we are giving her a headache all day when we never did anything to bother her. But it was okay for her to tell this older man to hide the cooler behind the bush and had the nerve to come and tell me I couldn’t have my drink by the pool. The room water is dirty and the toilet in the room smelled like dead RAT!!! The sink was clogged. AND FYI THE BEACH CHAIRS AREN’T included with the hotel. It’s a separate company that charges $20 dollars per chair, $20 for the umbrella and the cabanas by the pool aren’t included in hotel that is $125 for the day beds. The garbage was over flowing on the floor we waited for the elevator on. The cleaning lady came into the room without knocking. I had to call the front desk for towels every single day bc they wouldn’t leave any. This place needs better customer service and it would be a lot better. I wouldn’t be staying here again.

We booked an ADA room. Well, the room was extremely small. So small, hat I had to re-arrange all the furniture for my father to be able to move around the room. He couldn't even take a shower because the "accessible" shower was extremely difficult to get into. There was no shelve space anywhere and the one shelve available, obstructed the entry way to the sink in the bathroom.

Balcony: He could not access the balcony as the door was first too small and second, there was a step, so the wheelchair could not go down.

Pre-paid breakfast: We also got the prepaid breakfast. You got three options only and the price of anything extra is outrageous. The glass servings are extremely small. We paid $5 for a 6oz plastic cup of Sprite. The prices are too high for such low budget hotel.

Restaurant: The food is okay but not for the price they charge. Everyone was forced to eat outside as the inside part of the restaurant was not being used. Not to overlook the fact that it was 97 degrees outside.

Pool: The pool was water was murky and not cleaned overnight. This was during the 4th of July weekend. Overbooked is an understatement. Also, the amount of guest been brought in from the people staying was out of control. All sorts of music blasting from every party in the pool area. Too much! A diaper broke in the pool and the assistant rather than telling guest to get out to clean it, he just used the pool rake around the guests. It was disgusting!!!

My father ended up not fulfilling his stay as he could not maneuver anymore. Therefore, 4 pre paid breakfasts were not used. I went to the counter to ask if anything could be reimbursed, and the counter assistant just shrug his shoulders and dismissed my request.

Cabana: The prices were absolutely ridiculous considering the amount of grossness in this pool. $65 for the day.

Beach: The beach was dirty with leftover garbage from the day before. Also the constant ATV going back and forward was leaving a horrible smell of gasoline in the pool area and beach.

Arcade: One ice hokey table (barely working) and one working game that has a bunch of other games in it. The other 3 games were broken

Escape Room: $33 per person. Since our experience so far was so awful, it was clear that to pay $33 was going to be a waste of time and money.

We feel completely insulted. To call that room ADA accessible is a crime and it should be investigated. Overpriced, dirty pool, overbooked, noisy.

To say the least... we will NEVER stay here again. It was awful

If you happen to be looking to stay in this area, make sure you book next door at the Sky Manor Resort. Clean, great ambiance, amazing food (worth every penny) and the services overall seem much much much better! We found ourselves going there the last 2 nights we were there to escape the craziness and found it be a much better place to vacation. Did I mention, my father is an Army veteran, and they even gave him a 20% discount off the dinner bill and a huge thank you. We were really surprised and blown away by the Bamboo Beach Tiki Bar & Cafe manager and his hospitality and service. And we weren't event guests at...

The bed is comfortable enough, the linens are clean but you can get that most places. This area has many hotels and resorts, keep looking.

Imagine showing up on the beach at the resort you just booked for 4 days to discover there are no beach chairs. No loungers. Well, there is but you're going to pay either $52 per day or $65 per day. Depends who serves you. One day I paid 52.00 the next day 62.00 and then another day 65.00 Yes, you must pay to use their beach chairs, loungers, umbrellas. And they're old and ratty on top of that. Never in my life have I been to a resort and had to pay to sit at the beach.

The boys that run the jet ski and chair rental play all day, boogie board, spear fish, ride the jet skis, ride a 4 wheeler up and down. We watched 4 of them horsing around while people arrive and look perplexed at the stack of chairs and start to help themselves and that's when one of the boys would come over.

They rented skis on a day the water was too rough. Inexperienced guest couldn't control the jet skis and were just mere feet from swimmers. One being my husband. When I said to one of them, don't you think it's too rough to have guest on these things? He said well maybe you shouldn't be swimming. My guess, that jet ski chair rental business isn't affiliated with the resort so they could care less if resort guest can swim without fear of getting hit by a jet ski or enjoy the beach. They're there to make money. Just a hunch I have. Whatever the case, it's ruining what could be a great place.

Because we had a late flight I asked the day before if we could check out the next day at 5pm. The lady at the desk said, "anything before 4pm you won't be charged but after 4pm they will charge, just come in the morning and they will tell you how much". The next morning I thought for one hour I can make that work. I ask to check out at 4pm. The gentleman says it's $100 plus tax. I tell him what the lady told me the day before, he says no that's wrong. So, I paid the money. It wasn't about the money. I have a big problem with inconsistency in a place of business.

Breakfast is the only time we used the restaurant. And for 2 eggs, one slice of toast and 2 slices of bacon for 2 people with 2 coffee, the cost was $70.00 The food was okay, like what you would get at a corner café for 9.99 a person.

As for staff, they're not suited for "hospitality". No smiles, no good morning, good afternoon, no exchange of any kind. Out of 4 days the only front desk member that was pleasant was Barry. He helped me arrange the late check out and when I did check out was very pleasant. The rest weren't unpleasant just indifferent. They could really care less if you're enjoying your stay. The valet...

Worse place I have ever stayed! I have stayed at motels better than this place. To start we arrived at 4pm an hour after check in time and they were “fully booked” and only had the room we were given. It was in the fifth floor to the back. We did have a view of the ocean but also a wonderful view and smell of an overflowing dumpster. Our room did not have a shower curtain. Only 1 roll of toilet paper and the bathtub drain was taken apart. The room seemed clean till we looked at our feet and they were black! The windows had hand prints all over them. We bought a can of Lysol and sprayed and wiped down the whole room. We were forced to use valet which the valet driver let a guest ride in my car right in front of me. We are in a time of a pandemic and they are forcing you to pay for someone to drive your car but letting guests also get into your car to take them to their car. Rooms are not sanitized or cleaned as they advertise. Now the restaurant.. lord that was an awful expensive experience. The waitress was nice but lacked in service. They didn’t have what their menu stated. My friend got the steak which on the menu said it came with mash potatoes and salad. It came with rice because they no longer offer mash potatoes. The salad was on top and beside the hot steak. The steak was chewing and full of fat. The salad was wilted from being on the same plate as the steak. We order cocktail drinks which I’m sure had no alcohol in them. The water tasted like they scooped the pool water and added ice. The waitress didn’t asked how our food was or anything and took my friends full plate without asking if we wanted to bag it or if something was wrong since she barely touched it and was sharing my plate of pasta instead. Getting the check of $102 with a forced 15% gratuity I was very angry that I paid for a meal that was absolutely disappointing. Wendy’s had better service and food than this restaurant in the hotel. The pro is you are on the beach. That’s the only thing but right next to you are jet skis and major hazard for getting hit with a jet ski. Don’t waste your money here!!! The positive reviews had to be paid for or they got a free room and couldn’t complain. We were not once asked how our stay was and was disregarded when I complained that the valet was putting other guests in my car to take them to their car. They obviously know they offer horrible service to not even ask how your stay was. I travel a lot and will never stay here again or even recommend...
